We were staying in Chiang Mai for three nights and wanted somewhere fairly central. This hotel was within walking distance to the Old City and Tuk-tuk distance to Night Bazaar, Riverside etc. Hotel was quite old fashioned and beds were really quite hard and uncomfortable (not that I'm usually fussy about bed hardness!). Also, there was only a tiny window...

The hotel does what it should, it provides you shelter for your night's stay. There is a pretty decent breakfast buffet and the hotel does have a swimming pool. Be aware that there is not much shade around the pool area and the furniture has seen better days, in other words, not very comfortable. The beds are pretty hard. Location...

Based on the price we weren't expecting much when we arrived. It was gorgeous. A beautiful room, clean bathroom. The pool was clean and well maintained. Very comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A really nice place to stay.

We stayed here because it said large comfy beds, pool and breakfast. As we only needed a bed for a night, we thought this would suffice. The beds were rock hard! We asked other guests about their beds and we're told the same thing! Breakfast was cold and not enough for all guests. The pool was very cloudy and the...

We booked 3 rooms and all of them had absolutely uncomfortable mattress and terrible shower! The only good thing about this property is the location as it's very central and you can easily walk in the city however, I am sure you can find a better place!

Stayed as a family of 4 in interconnecting rooms, overlooking the pool so was quiet, yes beds are very firm even by asian standards but surprisingly we slept very well and didnt wake up stiff/sore. Great location. 7/11 and restaurants all within walking distance as are the city gates. Rooms are dated but the price reflects this, they were clean...

There are quite a few things that could compel me to rate this hotel lower than three stars. 1. As previous reviewers have noted- THE BEDS! Oh, the beds... you could land a plane on that bed, play tennis on that bed, anything but sleep...after 5 nights on that bed I may need daily massages for a year. 2. Yes...

I honestly dont like leaving bad reviews so ill try and say this as fairly as posible. I stayed for only one night. The staff in the evening when i checked in were friendly and welcoming which was a lovely start. They even brought my bags up to my room for me. However the staff in the morning were frosty...

The WanBurapa Hotel is situated in the SE corner of the old city and so is extremely handy for all of central Chiang Mai attractions, all within easy walking distances (or a tut tut)! Hotel is clean, simple and a little worn in places, but it is great value for the price they charge. Staff were very helpful, reasonable breakfasts...

Hotel is clean but looks tired. Bathroom was clean but tiles on the wall were broken. Bed was very hard but the bed linen was clean and crisp. The three staff members I spoke to did not speak very good English but we eventually made out what the other was saying. This was not a big problem as I was...
