I just spent 6 nights at the Chang Puak Hotel. The hotel sits like a little haven in the middle of the city, the pool is a great asset for the odd period of R&R, it is peaceful, cleaned and maintained regularly. The hotel is family run and they are just lovely, so friendly, helpful and efficient. Free wi if...

I stayed there in January 2016 for a few days. This hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk to the old city. People at the reception are very helpful and happy to advice you. Breakfast is a buffet located just outside the hotel under the trees; very pleasant for your first meal of the day. I would just say that...

We were told about this hotel from friends that stumbled across it a few years ago! We loved it! It's older, quaint, quiet and very well run by a wonderful family! It's like a piece of calm in the middle of a bustling city! And you can't beat the price! Yes the rooms are dated, but spotlessly clean! The pool...

I've stayed at the Changpuak many times, and have travelled extensively throughout Thailand and South East Asia and i love it here. The family who own it are super nice. The pool is one of the best in any hoyel, let alone a mid-priced small hotel; surrounded by trees and really peaceful. It's a 10min walk to the old city,...

Went with my dad, he stays there whenever he's in Chiangmai. It's a nice family-feel hotel with warm friendly staff. The owner of the hotel cooks the breakfasts and her daughter serves the dishes, adding to the family-feel. Facilities wise, abit dated but acceptable. WiFi is strong, air-con is powerful, that's about all that matters to me, facilities wide. Didn't...

We stayed for five days and this hotel proved real value for money. It was the low season which gave the place a somewhat bizarrely quiet feel, especially with the somewhat 70s gone glory reception area - which we actually liked. The rooms are nice, light, relatively large, and clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They offered what proved...

We had three rooms for our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 teens). It was perfect. Spacious, clean rooms, good AC, good wifi, lovely garden pool for cooling off. Staff was very friendly and helpful and willing to assist us directions, advice, and getting our rental car delivered to the hotel. Nice breakfast area outside for coffee and eggs.

Nice, simple hotel with very friendly people and spacious, clean and simple rooms without balcony. Lovely garden with pool. Most of the staff speak enough English to communicate sufficiently, though not all, which sometimes makes simple things complicated. Very sweet owner who loves Andre Rieu and showed me his treasures of this artist. Many elderly Scandinavian people visit this hotel....
