We stayed here for 6 nights over Songkran and absolutely loved it. Nice location which is about 10 minutes walk from the east gate, so quiet enough for a good nights sleep but close enough to the action. Breakfast was good, eggs and bacon with toast or musli and fruit. Rooms were nice with good air con and all windows...

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation, location is perfect, but the real gem is the host, absolutely fantastic, let us check in and chill in the communal area early and even did us a late breakfast. Keith is really chilled knows local tourist activities well and has a great knowledge of the wider Thai and Asian area for...

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Amazing location, so close to everything in central Chiang Mai. The owners are super friendly and so helpful, will gladly help you with tips and recommendations and with booking activities. Rooms and shared bathroom area are spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. Cannot think of a single negative! Highly recommended! Don't...

Keith is from the UK and it was very easy to get good advice on anything we needed. We felt comfortable from the minute we got there and it was very peaceful and relaxing. They have a shared bathroom and showers but they are very clean and great showers. I also sprained my ankle and they were really accommodating with...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were nice & clean, as were the communal area and toilets/showers. Really like the communal area as it was good for meeting people and had a nice atmosphere at breakfast (which was also really tasty). Both people were really helpful whenever we needed it and so chilled out! I would definitely recommend it. Good...

Keith and the lady were very helpful and gave us a lot of advice on our travel plans to cross over the boarder to Laos. We originally booked to stay 1 night but ended up staying for 3 in total as we didn't realise how much there was to do and see. I would defiantly recommend Finley's cottage. There is...

Quiet and peaceful yet a few minutes walk from the main areas. Owners are very nice. The breakfast is good, and is served at the reasonable hour of 10am. The walls were a little thin, but the room came with a towel, a/c, a desk, and black out curtains to keep the room pitch black. Wish I could have stayed...

Really enjoyed staying at Finay's Cottage. I had trouble sleeping at other guesthouses due to the noise, hardness of the beds and cleanliness. Finlay's cottage is great if you want to be close to the city but want a quiet area. The staff is friendly and breakfast is included with your stay which is always a positive. The rooms are...

The owner switches the internet off at midnight so you'll have no connection until the morning. When I asked the owner why it is being switched off he said "because I feel like it", which I felt was extremely rude. I had no connection with my family and couldn't do any bookings for the further part of my trip. This...

Actually we do not turn the internet off at midnight. On the night in question the router was overheating and I turned it off for safety reasons. I attempted to explain this in the morning to no avail. Regardless, please be assured that the internet will be running 24/7 despite rumours to the contrary.
