Luckily we didn't experience any of the negative things mentioned in the reviews below! We booked through booking.com who rates this at 8/10 based on the reviews on there?! How can it only score 2/5 on TA?! It was okay, having spent a week in the jungle at elephant nature week, we wanted to treat ourselves to a decent room...

We booked via booking.com for 7 nights in mid Dec 2015 but left after 2... We checked in and were immediately asked to pay in full - even though there is no mention of this requirement on booking.com (like there is for other hotels). Thank god we didn't have the cash on us, as we would never have got it...

This is my second trip to Chiang Mai. The place I stayed my first trip was already full (we are approaching the Chinese New Year) and there was not a lot available but we chose the Baan Thai. Well, we win some and lose some. Put this one in the "loss" column. We stayed in the room with a double...

Runs by Chinese with poor language skills, no service mind and not professional. No direction to the entrance and when we got to the wrong one, staffs laughed instead of helped. Front staffs gave away our room to other walk-in customers without checking name properly. After checked in, staffs showed no care for helping with luggages. Our stuffs weren't that...

Booked for 4 nights, stayed one. Place needs some work, shower dodgy, taps spin round, comfortable large bed, breakfast and eating place on sight absolutely awful. Left after one night. Check out the reviews all 10s on the first page all from Thais apparently, go further down and see the real reviews most of which are really poor. I reported...

This place is a Class A 'rip off'. First they told us we were 'upgraded' when we were just moved for what we later learned was out of convenience to them, the upgraded room sounded like somebody was having a hopscotch tournament upstairs, so we complained and then we were given a terrible room for a price similar to the...

It actually could be so nice if they invested a little money in it but our experience was not good at all. We checked in - having booked for five nights - and immediately noticed a horrible smell in the room. The wifi signal was detected yet nothing loaded for us, we had to go outside and sit for ages...

Save your money and health. Don't stop in this resort ever. Avoid! The thing is that booking.com shows rating 8.2 for this resort and reasonable price. But reality is so much different. Maximum rate should be 2 and price in high season 20$. Some facts: - location is very very far from any restourants or sightseeings. There is completely nothing...

The location is a bit far, but that was nothing when compared with all other components of this terrible brothel. My room came with a worn out fridge unplugged, a phone plug with no phone, aircon-without-remote, indescribable but not pleasant smell, stained door knobs, mediocre bathroom, to name just a few; there was not a spot you would want to...

This was the low point of our latest trip around Thailand. The 'hotel' is four very old and dilapidated two storey wooden structures. Our first impression of our room was small, dark and dingy, and it smelled dusty, white lamp shades had long turned yellow. There was no seating area as advertised. There were no tea or coffee making facilities....
