Wow… where do I even begin. Firstly the hotel exteriors are beautiful. The pool is serene, the designs are lovely and traditional Thai style. The rooms are spacious with a large bed. Very quiet and great sleep even though we were jet lagged. Breakfast is superb, lots of choices even for vegetarians and vegans like us. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes from the airport, right by the old city, walking distance to a couple of night markets. The best part of our stay was the Loy Krathong festivities. We were lucky to be there during the period this year. In the morning the hotel would provide free Krathong making activities with delicious Thai snacks and desserts and in the evening provided food, music, the lucky draw, lantern decorations, and all the Loy Krathong activities. Where we felt the service went above and beyond was during this evening party. We had come to Chiang mai to see our Thai side of our family including our 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair. She’s been sick for a while. She as well as our two other family members were allowed to participate and eat and dance for free of charge even though they didn’t have to do that. Furthermore the staff made sure that she had a great time - we haven’t seen yai (Thai word for grandma) this happy in so long especially since she got sick. She was dancing and smiling in the wheelchair! The lady who MC’d as well as the security guard went above and beyond. And all the staff there (there were tens of them!) even waved in a line as her car left. The other members of the family said that we must come back here next year for Loy Krathong so that’s what we will do. Thank you again to all the staff. You made the stay very special, made my family feel emotional.

We only had a short stay here but the staff were amazingly helpful to new comers. They assisted with taxi's recommendations for restaurants and idrections. They let us have a late check out to make the mos tof our stay. My only regret is we didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful pool. The breakfast was amazing!

We stayed here, traveling from Bangkok, for 5 nights. The hotel feels really like home. It’s an oasis in a busy city. Every time we walked to markets, it was a pleasure returning. Staff really friendly (security guard in particular) and the rooms feel high quality with a nice balcony with a relaxing bench, overlooking the pool. Great garden, well maintained. The breakfast is good with a wide variety. As a coffee lover, it was great that a member of staff was operating an espresso machine! Big plus. Pool nog massive but with inflatables etc really nice. The bed are in the water which is a fun feature. The locations is great and we walked the large majority, although red taxis and tuck tucks are everywhere. As a family (kids 7,9,11) we enjoyed the food at the markets. Tip: 9Sibblings restaurant. Super small, no AC but really nice for amazing prices. It’s at a 7 min walk from the hotel. All in all, this hotel is small which gives a nice vibe and offers quality. Would definitely re-visit.

Charming and quite new hotel (built in 2019), well located in the city center / old town - 5 minutes away from the airport - great pool area, gym, restaurant and coffee bar. Coffees and pastries are very good. Rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and have everything you need for a great stay. I would recommend a room with a pool view which will give way more flavor to your stay and a great view on the garden and pool area. City view is quite boring which we unfortunately did experience as well as we needed to switch rooms. Family rooms btw do have city view only. Staff is exceptional, friendly and supportive. Thanks for making this an unforgettable stay. Breakfast does have quite some choices however fresh fruit and yoghurt could be more. Dinner selections are limited and until 19:30. Compared to all other services, we’ve considered this as the most limited. Might be an opportunity to look into. Food offered is definitely qualitative.

A very well located hotel just on the outskirts of the old town. Hotel very peaceful with a lovely pool and rooms very well appointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast which we enjoyed and a lovely coffee shop on site. Ten minutes from airport and we were collected and returned for free - security guard on site so felt very safe. Hotel doesn’t sell alcohol so if you want a beer you have to visit the seven eleven which is ten minutes away. Temples are walkable from the hotel as well. Hotel also has a gym which has some free weights and exercise equipment.

Location is great just on the edge of the old town. The hotel is not too big and is charming. Great that they offer free airport transfers! Check in was quick and efficient. We got room 203 on the 1st floor. Clean, big and fantastic bed and good size bath room and large shower. Balcony with Thai sun beds. Free water and some drinks and in the minibar. WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was good, missed out on cereals and fresh fruits. But when you ask they will try to arrange it. Great coffees. Pool area is small but nice and welcome after a day in the sweltering heat of Chiang Mai. Very few sun beds, not an issue since it was very quiet but when travel picks up, be prepared. Overall very good stay, nice staff and good location. You can hear noise from the other rooms and maybe the road nearby. Due to the wood being used in the construction. The wood adds to the charm but again when the hotel is full this might be annoying. Great stay. Across the road is a nice place called “in the garden” worth your visit for food and drinks. Do recommend when in Chiang Mai.

This true gem can be found just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We spent two nights here, and I must say that everything was excellent! The location is close enough to walk to the centre but very peaceful and quiet. The staff is amazing and the rooms are comfortable and immaculate! The breakfast is to die for, with so much choice, and the perfect way to start the day! This new hotel, has very high standards of quality and incredible attention to detail. The owner also found the time to speak to us which made the experience even more personal! It is definitely our first choice in Chiang Mai!

I went there with my family. Start off with the reception, they welcomed us very nice and polite. My grandma loves the welcome drink very much! The rooms are very clean and give the Lanna kinda vibe! The decorating around hotel as well as in our room is very nice and beautiful. I really enjoy our breakfast which there are both authentic Thai dishes from central and northern! YES, I MEAN NORTHERN THAI DISHES! I rarely saw breakfast buffet line with local food from other hotel except Smile Lanna! Overall, my family would like to give more than excellent!

We stayed 5 nights end of December. Rooms are big, well designed and beautiful. Swimming pool with controled temperature, which allowed us to enjoy it despite cool weather. Buffet breakfast was OK and staff provided a good service. Location is good and we even had the chance to chat with the owner. In the morning, some activities are organised for the kids. There were no lunch/dinner service due to covid-19 situation. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in February, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to everything you need or want in Chiang Mai. The room was large and very comfortable, couldn’t fault it. As a new hotel there were just a few small things that need improving like no information booklet in the room, with details of breakfast etc. The internet cut out frequently. The pool area and gardens are beautiful, however they could do with more loungers and chairs around the pool. We would stay again.
