Note: this review is only for the dorm room portion of TK Guest House, not the hotel rooms. I arrived at TK Guest Hose on Saturday for a two-night stay in Chiang Mai. Upon arrival I was given a towel and a roll of toilet paper, which is a step above most other hostels I have traveled to. However, once...

Room was well-equipped, working television, air-con, shower, plenty of space, and even a little balcony, although it didn't look out onto much. Good price and location too, my only problem was with the beds! Hard as bricks, the blanket was merely a sheet half the size of the bed too. Apart from that, an affordable and central place to stay.

I loved my stay in TK Guesthouse. The location was central in old town, I could go anywhere from there. The staff was very friendly, very polite. The room was good and simple. Everything is clean. i loved my experience but I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the 3 things that annoyed me during my stay: 1-...

TK is one of the lesser known guesthouses in Chiang Mai (hint: have the phone number of TK handy when you are taking a taxi from the airport as my driver did not know where it was!) I stayed in two different rooms for a few nights. The first room was on the top story - clean, comfy, but with...

Location is good. Quiet place. Room and bathroom had nice size. No cleaning daily. Used toiletpaper were not removed and started to make a disgusting smell in the bathroom. Balcony was useless as it was in a storage room. Water was running from the ceiling in the bathroom when it rained. Budget place for a night or two.

When we arrived very early in the morning, we were welcomed by a nice receptionist. She gave a very good consideration to us and was helpful. The room was clean, but the bathroom in common could be improved by installing a simple shower curtain to avoid spreading water all over the bathroom. Wifi was ok.

I stayed her twice in May, I do have mixed feeling about this place. The rooms are big in size and the rooms at the back are really quite which is great and the price is brilliant. They also allowed us to check out at 8pm for our overnight bus which was amazing. The wifi is really poor, we ended...

I looked at a lot of cheap rooms in Chiang Mai, some are so scary it is not funny. Lucky I had time to look at a few. This one is quite clean and the upstairs rooms have a bit of a view even. So I would recommend getting a upstairs room at the back away from me the road.

The place is clean and the price is fair. The staff is friendly. The guesthouse lacks a bit in charm. There is free breakfast in the morning, but nobody told us and saw it once we were leaving. It is within the centre with a lot of good and cheap food and drink places around.
