Greeted by very friendly staff who were also happy to help organise taxis and provide information. Had a big room on 3rd floor with view over rooftops to the mountains so lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down. Room itself was very clean with a massive rain shower and very large bed. Pool area was nice and shady but not a large area considering the number of rooms and not a lot of sun loungers although pool itself was big. Breakfast was in building next door and you got a choice of western or Asian breakfast items to choose from on a menu rather than a buffet. The hotel is right next to a very vibrant local market which is great to look round early morning. Overall good hotel for good price.

For my first-ever solo trip abroad, this was such a nice experience. I got to the hotel after a grueling 21 hours plus layover in Bangkok. I was greeted by Brown, the young man at the front desk late night. First impressions are so huge in the customer service and hospitality industry and I know because I work in customer-facing sales. He made me feel very at ease with my stay. It was late, there wasn’t room service available, and I desperately wanted to try some famous Chiang Mai Khao Soi. I ordered some Grab food and asked for utensils, but the restaurant didn’t provide my driver with any. I was left with 3 plastic bags filled with my food and nothing to eat with. Brown went out of his way to get me a bowl, fork, and spoon so I could eat in my room. Aside from that, the whole staff was very friendly in general. I loved the terra-cotta, traditional feel to this hotel. Loved my peaceful balcony to enjoy the perfect Chiang Mai weather. Breakfast was nice as well, nice mix of East and west. The only thing I would request is it would be nice if the hotel provided washcloths with its bathroom towels and the Wi-Fi could be better, but I bought a Thai SIM card so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Would love to stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for making my trip very special.

Great small hotel centrally located in Chiang Mai. Easy walk out to the market or to the restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast was provided and provided a good choice. Nice pool area. Plenty of tuk tuks 2 minutes from the hotel if you wanted to explore other parts of the city.

We didn't want Im to leave this hotel! Not only is it so beautifully decorated but the staff is incredible. They helped us with any and everything, and always with a big smile. (Excursion reservations, calling a taxi/Bolt, helping us change our flight so we could stay another night, gave me bug repellent as we'd forgotten to buy it before our full day nature excursion, helped with laundry...big or little needs, they were happy to help.) The staff (front desk and breakfast crew) really made this place a 5 star rating. Additionally, our room (pool access deluxe king) was really beautiful & peaceful inside. It has excellent air conditioning and a lot of space. Great for 2 adults for 5 nights. We could step right out of our patio to the heavenly pool. There is very little I would change about this hotel, and we can't wait to find our way back to Chiang Mai to stay here again. (Oh and the Wat around the corner has THE best in my life Thai Massage for only 160 Baht and hour. I HIGHLY recommend giving it a try. Ask for details at reception.)

Stayed here for one week, the hotel is as advertised, beautiful. My first ever review done here as think the staff were exceptional, very well led by the Manager “Sam”. Warm, professional and friendly, we highly rated our stay!

Every staff member was friendly, helpful, answered all questions. We unfortunately did not speak the language but all staff spoke English so that was very helpful. The hotel, grounds, and room were all clean, very beautiful! Bed was comfortable. Convenient location. Quiet area while in room despite being close to busier street and market areas. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

We loved this hotel , it was exactly as we imagined . We had the perfect Welcome from Peach at reception which is always a great starting first impression. Our room was really authentic as was the whole hotel and the smell of incense everywhere. Our room was spacious and had a huge terracotta carving above the bed and we walked straight out onto the pool which is why we booked this type of room, very welcome with the humidity ! Sam at reception is amazing , lots of knowledge , really helpful with suggestions to eat, massage, visit etc and was just such a lovely guy , Sam and Peach really added to our overall experience as did all the other too . It’s in a good location and just inside the old city too and everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance . The only reason 4 stars not. 5 was the breakfast , which you had to pre-order and was very limited . Thoroughly recommend this hotel . PS the best night market ever - the Sunday night one - just brilliant and such variety , great quality, authentic and no tat either !

The name is totally accurate. There is art everywhere. Our room had a magnificent terracotta mural behind the bed. Every room had one. The whole building is an architectural success incorporating terracotta tiles, bricks and roof ornaments. But what really made our stay a memorable and enjoyable experience was Sam, Pang, Peach, Smile and all the other hotel staff. Their enthusiastic and sincere engagement with guests from the time of arrival to the end of your stay was amazing. They gave us so much help with sight seeing choices, best places to eat, street markets etc

Wow! It was so hard to leave this beautiful hotel and its charming, professional and friendly team. They had made us welcome with messages even before we arrived and when we did it was like meeting old friends Pang was very attentive in responding to our update when our flight was an hr late, which was very reassuring. Our drivers were so considerate too!! The reception area is stunning, and all the guest areas are clean, comfortable and relaxing - try the rice biscuits!!. The lo-fi jazz playing all day made us want to move in and call it home. Help with activities, drivers and prioritising places to go was invaluable with local insight from the gorgeous Sam and Peach. The breakfast is delicious, freshly cooked and served with love. Ping river dinner cruise, Wat Pra Lat, Baan Kang Wat + the very chill Cafe 39, Bo Sang and the lively Sai Ping bar were clear highlights, along with 10 Wats vibrant with the 3 day buddhist Festival. However it was the team at Terracotta Arts, of Pang, Peach , Sam and Smile who made it so special and memorable. They are a dream team and we so appreciate their kindness, recommendations and professionalism. No hesitation to return again as soon as we can!!

We stayed 3 nights. The hotel is very stylish with nice terracotta sculptures. The service was truly exceptional (the reception staff helped us to book bus ticket, gave recommandations and local tips), swimming pool is big and well maintained, and the breakfast was also incredible (need to fill the formular night before)
