I was eager to try The Pub. Many rave about this tradition English Pub. But i found it tired, grubby and in desperate need of some TLC and repainting. We were the only ones for Sunday lunch. The Sunday lunch was poor. Small portions and the gravy like water. No Kilkenny or Guiness draught beers as there are no deliveries... More

Being owned by an Englishman we thought the Sunday roasts would be top-notch but we have to say it was the worst roast we've ever eaten here in CM. The Lamb was dry, the yorkshire puds were raw and the portions were miniscule. Such a shame! All in all the food at the Pub is not the best Thai or... More

I was expecting a pub, you know, something that looks like a traditional pub, but this is not that. I was the first to arrive for Sunday lunch, and noticed a sign at the entrance but the staff gave me a menu, which didn't include what was available as a traditional Sunday roast. Eventually the waitress said 'Sunday roast, lamb... More

Food and gravy was luke warm. Yorkshire pudding was stale. Overall not recommended. There are better roasts in Chiang Mai and better restaurants in general. Service was slow and bad. The place is only good for old expats who drink more than they care about eating.

A lovely welcome from Graham on arrival. Fantastic bar with great character. The rooms are bungalows located outside of the bar with large bed and bathroom en-suit. It was about an hours walk to the old moated city, giving you the opportunity to let your senses take in the atmosphere.

Went in at around 7:30 and they had just started a quiz, asked if we could join in but they said it'd already started, we said we didn't mind we were only going to play for fun but we're not given the quiz. Asked for a drink from their menu but they didn't have it, quite common in Thailand most... More

I stayed at The Pub for 2 nights while in Chiang Mai. The bungalow i was in was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is complimentary and delicious. It is across the street was a hugr mall, in a quiet part of town and not too far from the touristy part of Chiang Mai. We rented bikes and had... More

We went tot he restaurant for American Thanksgiving dinner. The Pub had the lowest price we saw at only 245 baht which is why we chose it. We didn't really have high expectations but were totally pleased with dinner. For an extra 200 baht was a piece of pumpkin pie that tasted great except that it was covered in a... More

We stayed at the pub because we can put our toddler to bed, take the babyphone and then go to the pub next door for a few beers. The bungalows are clean, spacious and in a nice garden. It's extremely quiet for Chiang Mai (although there is a big construction site next door at the moment, but we decided to... More

I had a bacon sandwich with fries. The bacon was really nice, but the bread was soggy and cheap. The fries were burnt. The salad was sad. My fiance had a cheese toastie. It cost 85 baht I think, and for that he got a TINY sandwich, made with the same gross bread, toasted, with no butter (so super dry),... More
