Loved this guesthouse. I'd say a solid 4.5 for the excellent location (the night market is *literally* around the corner so you can stuff yourself silly then roll right into bed and wonderful service. I don't understand the previous reviews at all. Everyone was super friendly. I had laundry done cheaply and super promptly, the airport pickup was seamless, and... More

This hotel was magical. Friendly and courteous staff, delicious breakfast, cozy boutique hotel in a great location. Couldn't have asked for better. Do yourself a favor and just book this hotel- you will not be disappointed.

I was there in 2015 and loved it. Came back last week, in October of 2016. It was not as good. The staff changed and they are not as nice or helpful. What was great about this place before was not just the cute water garden they have inside, but the service was outstanding and the girls working there were... More

Highly recommended. Black and his staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially providing local advice and arranging transportation. The location is mid-South gate, giving proximity to conveniences and the interior is quiet, interesting, old Chiang Mai. We'd gladly return.

We stayed in this hotel for one night in Chiang Mai and it was absolutely lovely. The rooms and communal areas are all beautifully decorated and comfortable, especially the reception area with its water garden. We were also very impressed with the little touches this hotel offers its guests, like free water, mosquito repellent and snacks in the communal area,... More

There are a million mosquitos around due to the closeness of the pond and lots of water around the house. The rooms itself (standard) are small and you literally knock yourselves around things. In the Sala (Foyer) you can either use the computer or sit around in the adjourning garden. However, once there are more than 5-6 guests the Sala... More

With the open air courtyard and interesting decor, this place has a lot of charm. The friendly and helpful staff also provide a warm environment. The rooms are not spectacular, and maybe even a bit below average, but everything is there and working, so there is not great discomfort. The breakfast was very good.

We stayed 3 nights in a standard room. Room was well set up and equipped, lots of thought has gone into making guests comfortable in these rooms. The garden courtyard was so serene and leafy I was tempted to stay there and read a book instead of going out (but resisted). The staff are friendly and helpful, they seem to... More
