2nd stay at this great guesthouse, both visits for approx 3 weeks each, very friendly staff, location is its biggest drawcard it's clean and has a nice social area and is very reasonably priced, I will definately be back. They now offer a breakfast/coffee service (which I didnt take advantage of) and motorcycle rental, if you were that way inclined...

This place especially for the price was exceptional. The room was extremely spacious and probably in one of the best locations possible in central Chiang Mai. It was walking distance from two of the major Temples in Chiang Mai and there was plenty to do at night just a 1 minute walk into the "block." )Seriously just personal stuff that...

Ban Wiang meets all of my personal criteria for good value. Central location which means, in this case, inside the moat which was built around the old city 700 years ago, Clean with a private bath. Reasonable price. This is not a backpacker dorm nor a luxury hotel. The private bath has a flush toilet, a sink, and a hand...

Decent overnight stay, I was in Chiang Mai for just over 24 hours. And walked into a few, and then found and settled at this one! Tried to sell me a all day tour still, but I'll let that go. The room was clean and the staff helpful by giving me a map. I found it difficult to navigate back...

I did not book or reserve and saw this establishment when searching for room to stay in my recent holiday in TH. The double fan room was 350 THB with its own bathroom (cold/hot shower). TV with international channels and the window has a screen (no mosquitoes). It was clean and very quiet so I had a very peaceful sleep....

First of all the Hotel staff are very cordial and kudos to Merita for managing a decent and warm place like this guest house. I got a good room with balcony and double bed in a very neat...

When I first came to Chiang Mai this was the guest house I picked out to stay at. I considered it's location as ideal , being so near to Thae Pae Gate and the Sunday Market walking Street - Ratchadamnern Road. The accommodation is basic, homely, affordable and clean. What more could you need when you spend most of your...

The staff was helpful and the guesthouse is located in the old city. The rooms are not the best, a little bit old-fashionned, but they worth the price. We stayed there 1 night before a trek and came back after at the same place (but we didn't take their trek so we don't know their quality).
