I stayed here for nearly a week. It is indeed a short walk to the night markets, and just across a very busy street from Ping River. Breakfast is a mix of traditional and other foods. Clean, A/C, and rooms are back away from the street so traffic noise was not apparent, which I greatly appreciated. The river is not...

Just spent a week here. Great location/ close but not in the rush of the old city. Great kind and helpful staff. Clean comfortable accomodation at a good price. A good pool to cool down in. Nice breakfasts every morning in the price of the room.

My wife and I stayed here for a little over a week while we were in Chiang Mai. It is a perfect little spot with a great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great - right across from the river with plenty of restaurants and walking distance to several markets. The best thing about Riverside House...

My wife and I have spent six nights at this fine inexpensive, welcoming hotel along the Ping River and found it to meet all our needs. The staff was the best I have in countered and could not do enough to make us happy. Our room was made very clean daily, by a hard working crew. The breakfast was filling...

We spent 6 nights, the room was comfortable and clean with a good air conditioner. The staff were friendly and helpful and their English was pretty good. We walked to the day market, night bazaar, Tha Phae Gate and everywhere in between. The pool was great for a quick cool down. Breakfast was included, basic but good. They have a...

From start to finish we got all the help we needed from the staff. They explained the area and helped us book all our activities. The rooms got cleaned every day And when we wanted to go out at night the man at the gate got us an umbrella because there was a high chance of rain. The swimming pool...

The staff is super friendly and attentive. They were always willing to help with whatever we needed. The breakfasts were great. The coffee is very good. They had fried rice, fried flat noodles, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal and toast. Very adequate breakfast. The AC worked great in our room. We had TV but we never turned it on, a king...

Good rooms for different budgets. Car park. 5min. walk to Night Bazaar etc. The included breakfast not exactly my dream, but from 8AM I can top it up with fresh bread, ham, cheese, from the close Rimping Supermarket. Nice owner, nice staff, a good place to be in Chiang Mai.

We chose the Riverside for a weeklong visit to Chiang Mai with our adult daughter and her boyfriend. It was a perfect retreat from the noise and hubbub of the city; a quiet place to retire to, after spending the days exploring. An easy walk to the old city. Staff was friendly and unfailingly helpful - with a caveat that...

A large, quiet room, generous breakfast and a friendly, helpful staff made staying here a delight. It's NOT close to the city center, but we walked in once and took a tuk-tuk and both were easy. We felt we got real value for this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind being a little out of the...
