We spent two nights in this charming hotel during our honeymoon. The room was very nice, with colonial-style dark teak furniture, a lot of space for two people, toilet and bathroom. Good breakfast on river side.

This is a boutique hotel with great, big rooms. Breakfast was included in our room rate. Internet WAS spotty like all of the other reviews have been saying. The location is a little farther out from all the action but it's a quick 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the night market. I enjoyed staying here. I would say that...

Our expectations were reasonably high when arriving at the Aruntara - my wife and I had booked a trip through a travel agent, and while we wanted to stay at the Meridien hotel we were told that we would enjoy the Aruntara instead, so we agreed to stay there. Based on the reviews online we were expecting a nice 4...

We stayed here 4 nights. Lovely location on the river. The staff is very accommodating. Their breakfast is delicious with a great assortment of tasty food. The spa was great too! The small pool is tucked away to the side, refreshing.

If you want good internet access do not stay here as, despite constant complaints, it was not rectified. Breakfast was of a 2 Star hotel standard. Poorly designed bath robes. Good service from pleasant Thai staff.

Absolutely lovely hotel but we were disappointed with our room. If you stay here make sure you book a suite which faces the garden and has an open balcony. We were booked into an Elephant Suite which faces the street and has no natural light in the room and the balcony is enclosed. The windows are covered with slatted shutters...

Stayed at aruntara for 3 nights and was impressed. Nice room which is very modern for chiang mai. WiFi wasn't great as we had to continually sign in, but not a big deal. Location is good, 5 mins drive from old town. Would recommend to use uber (30 baht), stay away from tuk tuks (150 baht minimum). Hotel offers a...

Rooms are quite small and dark, needs modernized. Breakfast was small, but most things there. location was a bit out of town but transport was there if needed (Tuk Tuk). WiFi kept dropping in and out, and speed was slow. This would be a nice hotel with a few upgrades, and maybe for couples.

We enjoyed our four-night stay in a comfortable room with helpful staff. The shuttle to the night markets was also handy as was a tuk tuk outside when we went to other restaurants. The food was tasty at the hotel restaurant and we would come back for dessert there even when we went out. The breakfast cook remembered our orders...
