The check in was in a building around the corner - no reason for this as there is a lobby in the building the apartment was in. The apartment was inadequately equipped for 2 people e.g. 1 bowl, cutlery for 1 person. The apartment requires a deep clean the walls in the kitchen are splattered with dirt as are the...

The dirtiest place I have seen in a long long time. And the picture do not look anything like the real place. What a SCAM!!! I would only let my pets stay there, but not stay there myself!!! It would likely take you 1 week to clean your room just so it is inhabitable. and still 1 star.

Apartments and rooms in an older building with a small balcony. The wood flooring and bookcases make it seems like home, and the onsite owners ensure that all is shipshape My apartment's kitchen was equipped with a frig, microwave, and rice cooker/kettle. Highly recommended.

Poor communication and service Getting any information is like pulling teeth. There are a lot of better options in the Bangkok area for better prices. Maybe this place was good before but not any more.

Lush greenery and birds chirping is certainly something to tout in a city like Bangkok. The scenery is nice outside but the room we stayed in left much to be desired. For starters, it was quite old and smelled like 40 years of indoor smoking. The room was clean(ish), the bed covers were seemingly clean but again, showed signs of...

Myself and the couple I travelled with both had to change rooms, very dirty rooms and very dated rooms. The hotel is pet friendly which is why we stayed but the walled hotel grounds has many rabbits within which isn't a good idea for dogs.

The rooms you stayed in are reserved for those with pets only on the ground floor We try our best to keep them clean but due to the nature of them being pet rooms It's not possible or practical to have them as nice as our other non pet rooms we suggest that you could book a room for yourselves...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

In addition, House By The Pond has a English Colonial style lounge area for all to enjoy and relax. The atmosphere is best described as being warm, friendly, charming and, above all, homely as all of our buildings are low rise. The architectural style of House By the Pond is truly refine and unique to Bangkok as it is of traditional period style.
