I had an interesting and pleasant stay. A Thai experience with a bit of Japanese hospitality. Modern boutique hotel, very close to Soy Cowboy and to various bars and restaurants but further out from other attractions. The breakfast experience made it all the more worthwhile. Great option for couples as well as business travellers.

The best hotel in the city, as recommended by Swedish locals living there for over a year. Clean and in decent price. Close to good restaurants. Extremely nice and helpful service. Clean rooms, with all basic and necessary facilities. Highly recommended. They are opening restaurant as well, worth visiting!

Hardly an hotel, more a B&B. Breakfast just ok, not thai but with fresh fruits. Room clean, originally decorated, but average bed, lukewarm shower, no noise insulation. Wifi unstable. Parking a joke. Location good, but not so easy to find. But smiling people trying their best.

Had a wonderful experience in Seven. Each room is uniquely decorated and is very comfortable. Clean and spacious. Simple, yet delicious breakfast (yogurt, juice, coffee, croissant and toast with jam). The staff was very helpful and polite. Location is great: it's in the alley, so it is away from all the noise, but is very close to everything!

We checked in extremely late due to our flight situation and could not be more happy when we arrived. The hotel itself is located down an unassuming alley located in a fine neighborhood in Bangkok. If you are expecting 5 star accommodations, this is not your place. If you are expecting great service, friendly staff, clean rooms, powerful wifi and...

Late January, we spent 1 night at Hotel Seven in Bangkok. We stayed in the orange room, which was very disappointing: uncomfortable mattress, just 1 night stand and 1 reading light, no privacy as one wall is made of glass and faces the reception area (it does have curtains), very little floor space (it does have a tiny private balcony...

OK , so this place is small, really small, maybe 7 rooms - that most the reason for the name? So 7 rooms! Don't go expecting too many facilities, or lifts for that matter. Enough of that it doesn't have, what does it have? Well great staff for a start, very friendly and helpful, the rooms are a decent size...

We were greeted by an extremely friendly Thai couple. The hostel is a little bit off the main road so it is very quiet. It is also very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a basic toast, croissant, fruit and coffee. No protein. Laundry service was a little more expensive than other hostels. The reason it did not get 5 stars...

We had an excellent 5 nights stay. The hotel is super silent being only 100 yards off Sukhumvit, great location! The staff and the owner were very kind, smiling, and always willing to help. They offered us a tea every time we were back at the hotel; the day my girlfriend had a sore throat, Louise fixed her a ginger...

We booked for 3 nights after long flight. Great little haven. All the staff very obliging and friendly. We had one of the larger rooms, comfortable and clean. It was a bit tricky to find but as it is tucked away it was nice and quiet. Good location for metro and sky train. Would come again!

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Seven is a place for the privileged few, with just six couture rooms on four levels. It epitomizes the feeling of a stay in a stylish private home rather than a hotel a home that is modern, but ultimately very Thai. The multi-purpose "seventh space" - reception/art gallery/bar/lounge and each of the six guest rooms are inspired by the deep-rooted Thai tradition of relating each day of the week to a specific god of the planets and colours - red, yellow, pink, green, orange, blue and purple. ... more   less
