This hotel was perfect for our one night stop over between flights. The location is a bit strange, and there is nothing within walking distance but it's only a short 15 drive from the airport. We landed too late to get the shuttle to the hotel, but it was easy enough to arrange our own taxi. The owner kindly drove us to the airport in the morning after preparing us breakfast! We stayed in a HUGE family room with three king size beds which was more than enough space for our family of five. The rooms are basic but clean....all you need for a night stay.
We stayed for one night on our way to the airport. This boutique hotel provided excellent value and the rooms were huge. Our family had plenty of space to move around. Room was simple, but clean and well furnished. Owner gave us a ride to a local restaurant and the airport, so we were able to avoid expensive taxi rates. Air conditioning worked a treat, so we all slept very well.
I was looking for an overnight stay at a hotel nearby the airport, and found QG resort. I thought they had shuttle to the airport, but they don't. They'd call Taxi for me, but it is much more expensive than taking public transportation, which is not nearby at all. Next time, I will find a place that is close to the airport train stops, which is fast and cheap.
We stayed twice at this property. The owner Jean Marc was quick and efficient with communication. The property is well priced. We booked full board (breakfast and dinner) accommodation in transit to UK, including airport transfers for convenience. The room was huge by normal standards, the bed provided was large and firm. The room was perfectly clean, air conditioned and ceiling fan. The linen was a little tired but crispy fresh. Tea & coffee making facilities available in the dining room. Our meals were freshly prepared on request upon entry to dining room. The property itself is close to the airport but no aircraft noise to disturb. This is not a property surrounded with local entertainment. Surrounded by fish farms and fields plus some new residential developments. Local restaurants are within walking distance up the street, and certainly good value for lunch. Lots of locals used the restaurant at which we ate our lunch. Paseo mall is a taxi ride away. The mall has plenty to occupy your day either shopping, eating, massage or the like. We walked to the mall to get some fresh air but it was a taxi ride return. The property provides a ‘day use’ accommodation which we used on our return stop over travel. Very quiet & comfortable even during the daylight hours. Well done Jean Marc.…
Arrived at resort well homestay have 8 rooms I think no chef for restaurant is sick pool not open because not clean only positive is rooms nice and spacious and clean I don't think I would stay again far from restaurants etc
This is a comfy small but well run homestay style hotel very close to Suvarnabhumi airport but is tucked away in a quiet area that makes you feel miles from anywhere. We stayed here twice on our way to and from Koh Chang and enjoyed both visits a lot. The owner picked us up at the airport on the way in and we had a very nice nice dinner in the room. The room was large and comfy with a basic few drinks in the mini bar and you could go to the little dining room anytime, day or night to get tea or coffee. Breakfast was also lovely and the family made sure we had enough to eat on both occasions. When we left we were driven again free of charge to the airport. The experience was very pleasant.
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely, comfortable, spacious room, a blend of Thai/French elegance. Excellent restaurant, dined there for both breakfast and dinner over 2 days. Very good, reliable WiFi. Airport shuttle, round-trip, went smoothly. Highly recommended.
A great little airport hotel that feels more like staying in a house than a hotel. Our room was big and clean. It included a mini fridge, a TV with lots of channels, air-conditioning, and comfortable beds. The hotel is small and quiet. Staff accommodated our request for an early dinner outside of the regular dinner hours. Food was prepared fresh and was very tasty. They were also very accommodating about our breakfast requests to suit our small children. Free coffee, tea and water, plus a free shuttle to the airport, which was very close. Overall excellent value and service! We will stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok.
Ok for 1 night. Room good. Spacious. Free coffee and tea good. 1 free pick up from airport and a very reasonably priced transfer. However owner seemed very stressed and the swimming pool was more of a paddling / quick dunk area.
We landed very late into our initial arrival in Bangkok. By the time we got through immigration it was already 1a and the owner stayed up until after 2a as myself and my family, including my 1.5 year old daughter didn’t arrive until then. In the morning him and his wife called and set up a car for us to go to Kanchanaburi after our short night stay. The family room we booked was HUGE and included three king size beds, with the fridge stocked full of cold refreshments, which was a huge bonus when you’ve been flying for 18 hours and the last thing you want to do is find a market to get a soda or a water. We will be staying here before we leave Bangkok again as it’s close to the airport.
