5 of 5 I love the location close to BTS and MRT, great place and convenient. Good for single and families, close to all the action and terminal 21 mall. It is brand the I Check through out Thailand. Rooms are good size and clean. Staff are polite and helpful, there are 24 hour front desk.
Its on the time to invest some money back into this Place, some Furniture are damaged, the Floor has lose Wood tiles, the Elevator stops by 2 large Person, even the Limit given is 450 kg. The place is now open for over 15 Years, besides some Paint nothing has been done. I ask the Front Office Guy to call me a Taxi, his answer was 550 Bath to the Airport Dong Muang, I than get one from the Street, paid less than 300 Bath including Tollway. Its not nice that the Staff is trying to get on your Money.
Great location within an easy few minute walk to BTS and MRT. Multiple options for groceries, restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Drinking water and kettle in the room but not coffee..... Free coffee down at reception which is strange
I was in Room 43. 11th-15th April 2019. This was my 3rd visit and the longest stay here. 3 of the staffs did recognized me especially Toy who was his jovial self. Bed is comfortable and room was clean. Provided hangers were ok. Closet is open concept but good for easy access. Room safe was ok.. Bathroom is clean and functional. Front desk & all staffs were good. As a small hotel, they tend to recognize you so is good. Location was very good. I have stayed in hotels around the vicinity and the location is one of my main reason to choose this hotel. Located a short 2-3 minutes' walk to the big Terminal 21 Mall, which in my opinion has one of the best Food Courts in Bangkok and the best Mango Sticky Rice. Also connected to the mall is the Sukhumvit MRT and the Asoke BTS, you can't get a better location. Staying here, you have easy access to all parts of Bangkok and more.…
Location in a good alley despite being in a small alley, 3-4min away from Asoke BTS. Room was of decent size and although slighted dated but for the price and location, not much to complain. Theres some street food and a jap and korean restaurant just outside the hotel. Paid about 1400/1500 baht per night with taxes.
In my opinion, iCheck in sukhumvit soi 19 is one of the very best low-budget options off Sukhumvit (and there are plenty of options, of course). I spent a week here, on business, and found it to be perfectly located, 150 meters from the Sukhumvit subway and Asok sky train stations to connect you to any place in Bangkok, while being at one of the core areas where all the action happens. Rooms are large and cozy, with big beds and nice bathrooms, a safe, a fridge, a large-screen TV and many amenities, The staff is highly friendly. Thee is no breakfast at this small hotel, but there are plenty of cheap and nice options in Soi 19 and Sukhumvit.
Was in Bangkok on transit on 2 stays with this hotel. This inn is located inside a small lane on the left side, upon entering Sukhumvit soi 19, from Sukhumvit Road. Very near to Terminal 21, BTS skytrain Asok station and BKK Metro Sukhumvit station. From the main road of Sukhumvit soi 19, this inn is located about 50 meters in and on the left side. Along this lane there are other hotels too, This inn is located almost to the end of the lane The first transit was for 2 nights. Booked a double bed room and was assigned to a room on the 5th floor. All rooms uses the keycard, but the assigned room uses a key. After checking in, the front desk attendant came along to not only show me the room, but teaches how to open the door with the key. It is not like how we usually turn the key to open the door. The key need to turn and stop, to wait for the green light and sound to appear and further turn it in order to open the door. The assigned room was really large and comfortable. Ample space. The window uses a sliding wooden panel/door, and no curtains. After sliding the wooden panel, the window faces a multiple floor parking space of another building. Nothing much to look at. Reason for picking this inn is its location which is really convenient. Firstly the skytrain and BKK Metro interchange stations. Secondly, the nearest shopping mall is Terminal 21. Thirdly, very near to get to the highway to the airport and elsewhere. Nearby this inn there are Korean restaurant, Japanese restaurant, English pub and steakhouse. So food isn't a problem as this inn do not have room service or a cafe. On the return transit stay, was given a double bed room on the second floor. The room ceiling is rather low. Looks like the second floor is like a mezzanine floor. The room has a false window. Room size is slightly smaller than the first transit stay. But comfortable enough. Since only for 1 night, it is okay. Recommended…
-2 night stay in this 2-star choice of the iCheck Inn brand common throughout Bangkok -large well equipped room & small bathroom -from reviews-I expected a high spec modern business style hotel with all new shiny fittings and fixtures -I was disappointed-all the furniture is beginning to show its age & well used scuffs & scrapes are common & some drawers & cupboard doors are ill-fitting and hanging off. -this property will certainly benefit from refurbishment in all areas –including corridor carpets which are discoloured and worn - & there is a strange smell in corridors! -furthermore, the duty manager instigated maintenance in my room after I had checked in! Surely this should have been completed prior to any guest check-in! -nevertheless, the ideal location slightly makes up for deficiencies & the property has public transport stations, restaurants, bars, shops, markets etc – all walking distance. -an ‘OK’ stay – in a ‘well-used’ budget style city centre hotel - nothing special – verging on a ‘shabby’ condition - but a decent rate for central Bangkok ((-NOTE! 1-no breakfast included & 2-a deposit of 500 BHT is required as a deposit for the electronic door key-! The first time I have ever experienced this during my frequent ‘patrols’ of the globe!))…
This place is 3 mins to Asok bts station. The hallway is outdated and smell musky. My room is a decent sized room. Hardwood flooring. Bathroom is updated. The bed is hard. You will get a wifi password. Water, snacks, toothbrushe, toothpaste, aren't free. There is a 7-11 store minutes from this hotel. Safe hotel.
I stay frequently here and have for many years. While there have been some cutbacks under the new ownership, the onsite manager and staff are excellent and the rooms, while a bit tired, are clean and spacious. The price is quite reasonable for the area and quality of the hotel. One of the best features is the location - a few minutes walk from the subway and skytrain as well as one of my favourite shopping malls in Bangkok - Terminal 21. No real amenities, but there is an unaffiliated restaurant on the first floor and lots of late night food on Sukhumvit. There are a number of gyms a short walk away.
