But not great quality. Good place to stay a few days, but the workers at the front desk looked like they had no interest in working. Also, there's too many crazy tourists that go to party and make noise in the weekend nights. Besides that, it's clean, comfy and the breakfast has enough variety and quality.

We decided to switch our hotels to save a few quid on accommodation for this last trip to Bangkok and we kept walking past Le Fenix. From the outside it looked quite good. 250 Thai Baht breakfast, modern interior, taxis in abundance and quite a good price for a two day stay. For less than £47 a night, we'd thought...

I stayed at Le Fenix last month. The hotel is very centrally located close to Nana station. Rooms are clean but I found the corridors a bit dingy and foul smelling. The staff at the bell desk is courteous and offers free tuk tuk ride to the nearest metro till 8 pm. I found the reception staff a little spaced...

I stayed there for 4 days and it is not bad. The room was clean and the staff spoke basic English. The neighbourhood is a bit noisy but this was never a problem. The only thing I would recommend to improve is breakfast which was quite poor in assortment and quality. The location is strategic, loads of restaurants (not only...

First of all they charged a deposit the moment I checked into the hotel...dunno...why?...they say it's an insurance against unforeseen damage that me or my family members may cause to the hotel. After getting over this, I thought the hotel will be worth staying...but this was not to be. The floors had stains, the towels had stains, the geyser in...

I stayed at Le Fenix for 3 days. The rooms were clean. Although they could improve their breakfast spread for veggies. But the experience was made memorable by Aon, the concierge. He had helped us throughout in getting bookings, good taxis and advising safe places to visit, giving an insight to local minds.

We visited this hotel in last week of November and stayed here for 2 days. We had requested early check in which we were provided. The rooms were average. Hotel is located is good locality and taxi or BTS is easily accessible. The staff was good and helped whenever requested.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
