Stayed here one night last few days. I have found this place on the internet. The location is a plus which is on Khaosan Road Area. Despite of being on the busy area, the Lamphu house is quiet with greenery area. It is a bit obscure...More
Don't be deceived by the entrance from the street. The hotel is down an alley and then opens into a spacious courtyard. Super quiet.
The reception were adequate, the room was better than I hoped. Everything was clean, and the coffee was good.
Location is great! The rooms are comfy and you can get a balcony looking over a cute square.
Breakfast you can buy is good and affordable. You'll get water and fesh towels, and you can arrange services suxh as airport shuttle for 150bht pp.
I spent three nights here from 5th July 2017 whilst I got myself sorted out for a month in S.E.Asia. I'd been in Bangkok once before a few years back on the way home from Vietnam but never got to see many of the sights...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

There's a 500 baht refundable key deposit.
There's no wifi in the room but there's free wifi downstairs at the 24 hour reception.
It's clean and safe here and really well run. Hope this helps :))
