Stayed in this hotel for a week. For my first night, i was a bit scared because i imagined the hotel room as one of the scenes in Thai Horror Films. The staff helped me in going around the city, they even told me that its okay to go to Luxx XL and swim the pool. Overall experience was very... More

The room was good, clean en enough space. The balcony wasn't all that but I wasn't planning on using it anyway. The reception desk wasn't very friendly. No smile. Asked for a wake up call, didn't get it because they were sleeping in the lobby.

My girlfriend and I flew in to Bangkok for 1 night to transit to Hua Hin and stayed at Luxx Hotel because we were drawn to it by the photos on their website. Unfortunately, the photos were deceiving. The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and clean. We were pretty impressed initially but when we stepped into our room (no lift... More

The room, bed sheets, towels and everything else were perfectly cleaned which is the most important thing. The location is great and the staff was friendly, discreet and helpful enough. Breakfast is served in your room and you have all you need. I don't really get the bad reviews.....for £32 a night with breakfast no one should expected a 5 star... More

One positive thing about luxx is that it is located near silom road. However, unfortunately, the negatives did outweighed the positive for our stay. The beddings smelled like sweat and cologne. Event though they changed our pillow cases and sheets, but the smell seems to come from the pillow and bed itself. It was difficult to get a good night... More

The staff are rude, the rooms are worn out, they would not give us extra towels, we were told that the room had been made up and that was it, we asked for more toilet roll and they didn't want to give it to us. The breakfast was horrible, didn't eat it. The atmosphere was terrible, no security. I have... More

I was booking this hotel through one of the OTA platform. I was expecting it to be bigger than this. However, it's quite small hotel situate in Silom. If you love walking, it's definitely walking distance to BTS. Breakfast was good and on time. Love the design of the place. It's really cool from the lobby to the room number... More

Most of what's said in earlier reviews is accurate. You can stay at much better hotels a few streets away for the same price. Some things to note: - the staff are usually lying/sleeping on the sofas in the lobby during the day and at night - the rooms are not accessible by card - you are given a key... More

At some point this was an hotel that someone decided would be boutique/designer/cool/quirky, or something like that. The original design reflects that sort of hip thinking. However, the management has forgotten all that fancy luxury stuff and decided to run a very simple, homely B&B style of operation in the shell of a hip hotel. The end result is better... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
