This was the most bizarre hotel experience ever! A hotel that was once magnificent in all its glory, owned by the French, that ended up a dilapidated wreck with an old sad mascot dog tied to the reception called Ocean. It was obvious that the owners were trying to scrape the last bit of money before this bordel was closed... More

The hotel is good value. Staff give good service, but is in need of a make over. Nice pool but shabby. Hall ways too dark. Rooms need a makeover. In particular security box needs to be bolted down. New towels required , wifi and TV service limited. If the hotel had some money invested into it then it would be... More

I don't know about hotel, but they have easily accessible pool side bar and restaurant which is nice to hangout with friends in the evening or weekend, and the price is very reasonable not like other hotels charging very high price.

In spite of a conformation that the room was booked (sept 2015) and in spite of three e-mails two weeks ahead to the hotel no room was available on arrival. They blamed the computor and even refused to give the number to the manager. The hotel staff did not do anything to make up for their terrible mistake. The customer... More

This place looks great in the photos and perhaps it once was but now it is run down. We booked a twin room but had to share. The bed was king size and comfy but the room stank, the bath leaked and we couldn't get any hot water. There was no bar and all you could get for breakfast was... More

We booked online and thought the place looked good. It does indeed have a great location (3 minutes walk to Phrom Phong station, which is only 2 stops away from the Nana), and the all Indian staff were very hospitable. However, the photos are nothing like the reality. The pool area is dilapidated, with rugs covering up the sucken boards... More

The pictures of this hotel on line caused us to be excited and hopeful about our 3 night stay. When the taxi pulled up to the entrance we thought it was closed or abandoned. There were no lights whatsoever and we were a bit reluctant to proceed but we did. The light got better as we rounded a corner. We... More

Book a room the pictures looked awesome but it was all a hoax. The room I booked was the executive suite it said minibar, satellite t.v., in room safe and it had none of these. See pictures. The safe if that's what you want to call it, wasn't bolted down to anything. So more or less it was a collection... More

Stayed there for 5 nights. Definitely doesn't look like what's in their website. Some friendly and helpful staff and some who just weren't that helpful. Since it's going to change management, I supposed I came at the wrong time where things aren't maintained properly and some not functioning. Same breakfast everyday, no water pressure, TV not working, uneven wooden panel... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
