We visited this beautiful small hotel in March for holidays.Babis (my boyfriend)had stayed there several times before and he was telling me how beautiful is.Jason was very friendly and willing to answer all our questions and to recommend places to see and eat. This small and “old fashioned” hotel can provide you a bike for free to Explore the town and is very close to monuments and Khaosan. We had the choice of different breakfast every morning and during the check in to choose the smell of the bath salts we wanted to use,Thank you Jason and team for making our holidays so pleasant. We will be back soon!!!Greetings from Greece!!!
awesome!!! Jason was just outstanding and so helpful, informative just so amazing!!! i highly recommend this little amazing place, so unique!!! breakfast was outstanding the room just outstanding- just beyond expectations!!
Old Capital Bike Inn is a nice little hotel in the heart of Bangkok, near to quite a number of hot spots. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cozy and clean! It's an old building so expect the rooms to be a little noisy. But it's very authentic and recommended for a pleasant stay in the old Capital
Jason, our host, was amazing. He helped us with everything, taxis, touts, directions, recommendations, and a bike tour of Old Bangkok. Jason even helped us to contact hotels and excursions from later on in our trip, some of which I had written off because I was unable to contact them. Rooms were very clean and the bicycle theme was great. Breakfast was also wonderful.
In the heart of Old Bangkok this hotel brings you back in time but with all the comforts of modernity. The furnishings are beautiful and the the rooms comfortable, it feels like each room would have little unique touches to them to make your stay feel personal. The food is great ( I recommend the waffle) and the staff are incredibly generous and friendly, ready to help guide you on you holiday visit. I highly recommend joining the bike tour! Do this early and you can get a real inside look at Old Bangkok and it's history. This helped me plan the rest of my stay by giving me some place to visit I would not have picked up on.
Very happy with our stay at Old Capitol Bike Inn. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and the room was very comfortable and cute. The location was top notch- an easy walk to temples, incredible street food and Khaosan Road. We would definitely stay here again!
Such a beautiful little hotel with amazing decor. We had the huge family suit with an upstairs ‘erie’ shower and outdoor tub. Really attentive staff and delicious food. Jason is so friendly and helpful we will certainly come again next time we’re in Bangkok and recommend it to friends and family.
Love this place. Steeped in history and very cozy. Jason took great care of us and couldn't have been more helpful. Nice quiet area yet close enough to the hustle and bustle of Koh San to walk. Great bar just next door with live music and a Classic Scooter theme called Lambretta.
I stayed at OCBI in January. I checked in early and Jason the owner had snacks and a drink for me while we did the check in paperwork. I had requested the garden room, Jason showed me a sample of bath salts for the soaker tub, let me choose and later when I got home, they were on the table ready for my bath (red wine bath salt all the way). I had 3 requirements for my one day/night in Bangkok-find a great place to eat, find a place to buy traditional, quality homemade Thai art and get a great massage. Jason found me an amazing restaurant and made me a reservation, had maps handy and explained how to take the water taxi (so much fun, and I had taken it before on past trips, but without the maps to show the drivers it was intimidating) and where the great shopping was. I had to leave for the airport at 4:45 am. He had a taxi for me and a packed breakfast and hot coffee. The bed was the most comfortable I slept in in Thailand, the bath was amazing and there were free beverages and water in the room/fridge. Stay there, it's perfect!…
