It's a budget hotel. Room and toilet ok. Have english channel. No lift. Staff some polite and some not. Breakfast was good choose from 8 standard menu. Near bts. No night activities and market's surrounding, need to take bts about 2 station away.

I have problem to find this hotel as it is situated at the end of the dead end street. Location is 10 minutes walk to Thong Lor BTS. The pictures are much nicer than actual look. The building is quite old but it is clean and ok for price that I pay. Breakfast is totally basic but can fill. Great...

Don't book this hotel by looking at the pictures. The pictures are far better than what it is in real and that comes across as a disappointment. Rooms are small with no ventilation and smells of plastic paint. The washrooms are also small - you can barely stand for a shower (sitting isn't an option). The area around the hotel...

The hotel is about 5 minutes from Thong low station. The rooms are small but clean & neat with Fridge, T.V.kettle & hair dryer. Good wi fi. No lift. The breakfast is limited and divided in 8 separate sets. You can opt for one. But fruits, yogurt, juice & salad is not limited. No recreation. It is a decent budget hotel....

Room is a bit old, no lift. But clean and comfortable bed. Free coffee and water. Shower ok - mine was broken initially but fixed quickly. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was fine. Not much else to say really. It's a guesthouse in Bangkok, like many others, that is just fine. Not top notch but a good deal for the price.

We booked into this hotel by mistake as we intended to book the sister hotel on Soi 8, however, overall it was quite a good place to stay for our one night stopover in Bangkok. The room was surprisingly big and cleaned to a high standard. The room was a little dated but appears to have been recently decorated. The...

The facilities are OKAY, but the staff is unhelpful and unpleasant as a staff could possibly be (sometimes they even sounded hostile??). Very unpleasant experience. Not in a great location for English speaking tourists either (far out from the markets/food/sights). You can find much better for a similar price.

We stayed for 4 nights facilities are nice but for the same rate you could find easily many other hotels. The advantage is thong lo bTS station is at walkable distance. For a week booking rates will be considerably low. I conclude If you are looking for reach ability to the sites & BTS station go for it or if...

This hostel is ok for the proposal price : rooms are clean, wifi and breakfast are included and good. Nothing much to say : if you don't want to sleep for a very cheap price in backpackers areas (far from this hostel which is on the metro station and downtown) , this is the place for you.

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
