I stayed here more than 6 years ago and they have maintained it well . A nice hotel within walking distance to Saladaeng Bts . The Mrt is also not too far away. Walking distance to patpong and nite life. The rooms are average sized and has got a bath tub in the toilet. Free tea & coffee is provided...

Been here several times for years. Two recent visits were for pleasure while the remaining ones were for business. The hotel is just around the corner of Silom district near the Patpong market. Rooms were large, some with kitchen. Amenities are good - I recall they had renovated the hotel compared to years ago when I stayed the first time...

Silom Serene is a basic hotel located in a very central area right near the Patpong Market. The rooms were fairly large, well equipped and clean but the wifi was terrible. The only place we could access a decent signal strength was by sitting in the hallway. The staff could do with some training in customer service too. More often...

Thank you very much for your review of the Silom Serene, a Boutique Hotel in Bangkok. I've taken your concern regarding the low WIFI signal in your room and related it to our Chief Engineer who will look into the issue right away. As for the receptionist staff's unprofessional mannerism, we will definitely set up an intensive training and re-orientation...

i stayed here back in Nov 2015 and can't believe a forgot to give them a review, sorry! The hotel is located just round the corner from the BTS but is relatively quite. Check in was painless although the staffs English was a bit hit and miss, really not complaining about that as my Thai is non-existent! The rooms were...

Clean room with good facilities including fridge, large bed, en suite. The bathroom could do with an update but we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful when our tour guide was late, and they offered to phone them on our behalf. Good location and friendly hotel!

The hotel is very well located in the middle of Bangkok with access to all parts of the city via public transportation. The hotel is very normal/basic and not special in any way. Their fitness room is outdated and almost falling apart.

I booked a room here based on TripAdvisor reviews and had the worst hotel experience I've ever had in SE Asia. I booked for 4 nights, a double room for two, as my wife was joining me two days after I arrived. On arrival, the unfriendly receptionist seemed to be greatly inconvenienced by me wanting to check in. I told...

We have been staying at the Silom Serene now for many years and generally stay there every 2 years or so. This hotel is run well and the staff are always very helpful. The location is good for all the amenities and transport etc. The rooms we were given were very big and very quiet. They can provide shuttle services...

Neat, modern hotel in the center of everything. Beautiful pool, walking distance to mass transit and restaurants. For the G of LGBT couldn't get closer to the scene and not be in the middle of it (which can be seedy).

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
