Dropped in on a Sunday for smoothies and sticky rice. Good drinks and very fresh fruit. The terrace is straight next to the road so a bit noisy but the friendly staff and good food makes up for it. There are a few tables available inside as well in the a/c area.

I have stayed at the hotel several times because I like to live smack in the middle of chinatown with easy assess to several good restaurants. The rooms have seen better days but are functional. Service is good and it has a good atmosphere.

It's on the 2nd floor of the hotel. I was the only guest staying there that night. I won't be back, although it was very clean and comfortable. The lights were motion activated, except for a small light by my bed, so to keep the overhead light on I had to keep going out into the hall and coming in...

This hotel was conveniently placed for the Chinatown New Year celebrations. It was great to be walking distance to so many markets and sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. A positive experience for our first visit to Thailand

My wife and I have stayed here for vacation over the past few years. The location at the top of Yaowaraj Road is superb for tourists on food tripping. There's a bus stop right in front where many public buses stop at. Bus no. 53 takes you to Pak Khlong Talad (Flower Market ) for 6.5 THB each. This bus...

Great stay. Receptionists and staffs are accommodating. Great location especially if you'd like to discover Chinatown and do food tripping around the area. Good and affordable restaurant just beside the hotel. Walking distance to the train station, and very easy to get a tuktuk if you're bringing a lot of things.

One can of tonic water was an eye-watering 100 Bhat. The bedroom was ok. The bathroom with hot water shower was a...

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
