My Husband and I just returned from our first trip to Thailand. The hotels location was excellent for us, close to the BTS Skytrain line and all the other attractions in Bangkok. The price was excellent for the room we got which was extremely clean and very roomy also. The hotel is located in a quiet side street which was...

After deciding to find a nice place close to the subway lines and avoid the congestion of getting to and from Khao San Road, we chose the Bossotel. Our choices were based on reviews posted on tripadvisor and the website. As usual with anything in Thailand, what you see on the net is not what you get. This false presentation...

We had booked the Bossotel as a budget stay at the beginning of our Thailand holiday and it was the ideal choice. On arrival at 9.00 am we were given our room straight away with no suggestion of any extra charge for early arrival. The room had no window onto the street, but that was no drawback. It was clean...

I booked a Superior room with twin beds via Sawadee.com. Paying for 4950THB over 3 nights, around SGD80 per night, which is considering cheap. The room is at 5 floor, and is extremely huge. Having no problem sharing with my friend. Shower room is BIG enough too. But the bathtub is old, and does not look pleasure. Has a small...

We stayed at the Bossotel Inn for 3 nights in October 2007 and 4 nights in December 2007 in a superior room. The Bossotel is well located, being close for ferries and the last stop for the skytrain, so getting around Bangkok was very easy. There was a dept store, supermarket and lots of shops and an evening market nearby....

We stayed at the Bossotel twice during our trip. The first time we had booked a superior room (due to the advice I read on TA) and thought the room was ok. It was kind of small and we were hoping for 2 beds but they ended up only giving us one large bed since the booking was originally for...

I picked the Bossotel as a budget place to stay in Bangkok after reading the other Tripadvisor reviews. It lived up to expectations, and some! The location was perfect. About 5 mins walk from the Skytrain getting you into the East side of the city and 7 mins to the boat pier getting you to all the tourist spots on...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
