The rooms are so old-fashioned, the carpet and the aircondition are so old, there is not enough light in the room and bathroom. Friendly stuff and okay breakfast. It is close from Pier and shopping malls, not a bad area to stay.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, average. The location is great on the same block as the Shang ri La Hotel for a quater of the price. It is a good deal for the price. There is a massage place right downstairs and a great restaurant called Mazzaro across the street.

Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms average .Not far from a ferry boat jetty and the sky train station which made getting around easier. Free shuttle boat to asiatique leaves from this jetty which is a good place to eat and shop. There is a great restaurant, Mazzaro, opposite, serves western and Thai dishes of high standard.

I stayed here for 4 nights. On arrival the receptionist was quite rude when I asked for a map She threw a general overview of Thailand at me.I wasn't feeling that well. So I asked about changing money and was advised to use their in house operation. That cost me 300 baht even though there were better deals just around the...

Six friends stayed here for 5 nights and found it an excellent location from which to tour Bangkok. The hotel is small and a little jaded but very comfortable and economical. My Standard room on Level 4 was spacious enough for one or two people with a King sized bed. The bathroom was big with updated features and well maintained....

Good location close to river and BTS. Comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast ok. We didn't use the pool but it looked small and only had a couple of sunbeds. Reception staff friendly and arranged taxi to airport for us

My family of 4 stayed here in a family room with a king sized bed and a bunk bed. The family room is decorated in the kid's favor while keeping it cool for adults. There are plenty of stuffed animals to cuddle. The bunk bed has stairs, not monkey bar, and is very cute. We love our room. The door...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
