In the middle of a fairly high end shopping area this is a well set up and run hotel. Costs a little more by Thai standards but is worth the extra money. Huge room great food available excellent service.
Overall: The hotel is great for its accessibility, the lovely decor in the lobby, the more-than-adequate Executive Lounge, modern rooms, and overall ease of stay.
Getting There: The train station nearest is Phrom Phong. Take Exit 4. Once you see Emporium Mall, it's just a...More

Breakfast buffet was free for us because we were diamond status. Typically at Hilton resorts, breakfast costs about $20-$30 (USD) per person. There are plenty of local places within walking distance that have cheaper breakfasts if you don’t want to pay hotel prices, including a Starbucks.
If you book a hotel for 2 AM, you will need to book it for 2 Nov and tell them you’re a late arrival (past midnight); otherwise, if you book it for 3 Nov, you won’t be able to check in to your room until check-in time at 1200-1400 on 3 Nov. Hope this helps.

The electricity in Thailand is 220 volts, 50 cycles/sec.
They accomodate both flat prongs (like in the U.S. and Japan) and round prongs (like much of Europe and Asia). Actually, most receptacles in Thailand are two prong, missing the third grounding/earthing prong at the bottom. However, the newest office and condominium dwellings usually offer the third prong due to increased awareness of the importance of grounding for both safety and equipment damage reasons.
Most devices run fine on 2 prongs, but some things should have a ground for reasons of both safety and equipment damage, as discussed later in this article.
