This hostel was clean and the staff were friendly. All the rooms are a bit sparse, the common areas are well decorated and welcoming. The shared kitchen has everything you need to cook, there's a washer and drier, computers to use and a fantastic rooftop. Within walking distance to the BTS stop and lots of veg thrown options on the...

I was staying at another hostel and was out for the night with friends, seeing the bar scene. They wanted to keep it rolling and I was too tired. So I decided to head back to my hostel in the Silom area. I know I know, it was not a good idea to walk alone in the dark streets of...

Two adults and two children stayed here for three nights. It was overall a very good experience. You can cook a breakfast in the kitchen and there is a nice common room. The wifi worked fine. Our room was fairly spacious and could accommodate us and our bags. The hallways and the bathrooms could use some cleaning however.

a clean hostel, conveniently located near the BTS line. Close to plenty of food joints. The hostel had a nice private rooftop, although access was prohibited after 10pm because of noise complaints from the neighbours. The only downside to this hostel - it wasn't the most social of places

We booked the hostel for a night and arrived at the hostel as planned but the reception was nowhere to be found. There were many clients walking and waiting for this reception lady and I had to wait for literally an hour for her to showed up. After many calls from me and others, and bell ringing, I politely notifier...

This hostel is also very clean, safe and has a good shower, internet, and cosy lounge, and indeed a great value for the price I paid. Staff are very helpful and gave me very helpful advices and recommendations for the places to eat and visit. And I...

Stayed in for 3 days here and really liked how pretty level one of the whole hostel was. The room is ok but the locker is so small. I guess it's only for valuables to be locked in it. I climbed on to my bed and realised how shaky and creeky it was cos it was making sounds. I guess...

We stayed here when we first came to Thailand, and were welcomed by a lovely air conditioned social area. There's a small kitchen try at the back which was very useful. We booked a double fan room, but got an air-con room with s double and two bunks in it all to our selves. The place was clean. The only...

My girlfriend and I stayed in a double room for 5 nights, which was absolutely alright. We also found a private bathroom in our room, what was definitely a great additional thing for this price. Just the water pipes which are going trough the room are getting a bit anoying because you you can here it every time when anyone...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
