Stayed here for a few nights while in the Khaosan area. The rooms are very nicely done in an indochina theme. It's on the main street which attaches to Khaosan so its easy to get a taxi, shuttle from without the crazyness of Khaosan itself. Nice and safe hotel. We also stored our luggage with them while we were away....

Very nice hotel a street away from Khaosan street and a 10 minute walk from the Royal Palace! The room was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big. I strongly recommend this hotel if you're going to be going out in Khaosan at night because it's not on the street in the center of the craziness,...

We needed a spot to stay in Bangkok and thought that this would be an interesting location. I like that there were a lot of places to see around the hotel, temples, the palace, scooting around the city via the river, but the street it's on was a bit overwhelming and loud, cool if you're young and wanting to party...

Good quality hotel, starbucks and BK next door. Right in the middle of the backpackers district. So, all in a couple of minutes walking distance- very convenient. However, this also means, lots of loud partying which you can hear quite well in the rooms. So, if you like to party or sleep through party noise- excellent choise! If you need...

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Great location for being a tourist in Bangkok. The room was clean and comfortable. It can be loud at night but that's to be expected. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and food was good but a over priced for the area.

Very cute boutique Letten. The hotel is very centrally located. Right in the heart of the action and shops. Not for those looking for peace and relaxation. The hotel is very clean. Very special. Very courteous staff. The restaurant is great and the price is certainly false. Rooms small but adequate. Definitely recommended

I booked this hotel based on reviews I read on TripAdvisor and I was disappointed. First time it happened to me, next time I'll be more careful when reading reviews. The hotel is very well located, near Khaosan, and at a walking distance to the Grand Palace. The hotel amenities are fine, the bed also, so what's the problem you're...

Hotel location is great, very close to Khaosan road. Hotel is refurbished, rooms are good size and very clean. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping places nearby. We have tried in house restaurant which is just average. Taxi service that hotel provided is fast and very reasonable priced. Only downside is hotel is really loudy at night.

My husband and I arrived at the Baan Chart after a 20 hour trip from Canada to Bangkok and were greeted with a cold towel and beverage. Staff were friendly and hotel was set a bit far back from the road giving some barrier from the street noise. The room was clean and steps from the beautiful roof top pool...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
