The hotel has an excellent location located nearest Democracy Monument. It has a cafe / restaurant, and the interiors look nice. This boutique hotel has a character when it comes to its interior design. There were books / magazines that you could read at the entrance in every hallway. There is a lobby / living room / reading area per...

If you're looking for a place to stay that's not pricey but has the service of a 5-star hotel staff, then this is your place. Small rooms, but comfortable bed and pillows. We booked for a twin room with a shared bathroom. Soaps and shampoos are readily available. The free breakfast are so good as well. On our last day...

Located next to the Democracy Monument, Baan Dinso is walking distance to all the famous temples and Khao San Road. The rest of the city is accessible by bus and there is a bus stop very close by. Perfect location if you come in December during the King's birthday, a big celebration in Thailand and if you're lucky you'll get...

I stayed here for two nights. I booked a standard room (with shared bathroom). The room is small but cozy. The pillow is soft. There is a cable TV. The aircon seems new. At night, you can use the bedside lampshade. There is a window overlooking the Democracy Monument. They clean the room everyday and provide fresh towels. The shared...

I would far rather save my money for travelling than spend it on fancy hotels. But I do want a clean hotel in a good location. Baan Dinso @ Ratchadamnoen was a great place to stay. The rooms are tiny, but that's all you need, they're clean and bright. The shared bathroom was modern. And the lovely young staff were...

Baan Dinso is located in a prime location within walking distance (a scenic 20 min walk) to a lot of the "must see" sights, such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and a quick 5 min walk to Khao San Road, which will keep your belly full into the wee hours of the night. We arrived at about 1AM...

I stayed in the single room, it was clean and modern. There is a tv, desk, table lamp, some clothing space and a nice plant by the window. The shared toilet and showers is clean with nice tiles. You get shampoo and shower gel in the shower. Apart from the great location near the best tourist spots, the best thing...

My family and I have just left Baan Dinso, we flew in at 10pm to BKK and needed somewhere to stay quickly and cheaply until we could find suitable accommodation the next day. Baan Dinso was so welcoming we stayed there out whole holiday! The staff provided the best service I've ever encountered and I've frequented many a five star...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
