We stayed at this hotel for 5 days during our trip to Bangkok. The place is strategic enough--few blocks away from Ratchathewi BTS station and malls (Platinum Wholesale Mall, Pantip Plaza, and Pratunam Market). There is a 7-11 beside the hotel so it is easy to grab quick snacks. Our room was big enough for us, clean, and had a...

Besides the good location and reasonable room rates, I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. The hotel room condition is really bad, internet is slow, door knob on the verge of dropping off, rude staff and not very clean room. I would never recommend this hotel to any of my fellow travellers.

The night staff at the reception (old guy with glasses) is totally unfriendly, lazy and respectless. He doesn't know how to take care of customers. I dont know how a hotel could hire such a employee. Also the rest of the reception staff won't help you. I am glad that i only stayed 1 night. Search for other hotels in...

Night staff very rude and lazy. We asked and paid for an extra bed added during the day but when we returned in the evening this had not been done. We asked the night staff to get the bed for us but were told there was no one to do this for us. The spare beds are kept in a...

I was looking for a place that was both affordable and clean. I found these and more in the Bangkok Diamond. It was also centrally located, within 10 minutes of walking distance from a BTS station. The only thing that bothered me was the thin door, which let in sounds of trolleys being pushed and chatter of the cleaning ladies...

I always stay since 2010 at The Bangkok City Hotel located just next door(actually there is another building next to The Diamond) thus it is by far the most strategically placed hotel in Bangkok but on certain period, the hotel is always fully booked so when I have not booked it on time, there is always another place to stay...

Good price for Bangkok if you deal directly with the hotel. We paid 800 Baht just a few days ago, more expensive via Agoda three weeks before...and it is NOT right next door to Samran Place Hotel as stated in the description, it's about 100 metres or so further along and has a 7 Eleven store right next to the...

The rooms were great, the cleaning service was great, and the price also was awesome. Except for the cameras, the door with a weird security lock and for the old guy at the reception who has a huge attitude problem. Long story, short : Dear Manager, your staff sucks big time. They just don't know how to treat customers. I...
