A great place to stay, close to the excitement, the place was clean and a lot space, free bottle of water as I entered. Lady at the front desk made you feel at home, waved every day. It was songkran as well and I was able to get dry quickly after a night of celebration or if I got to...

It was a basic hotel that meets your basic necessities for an overnight stay. The hotel, however, was located just beside the infamous Khaosan Road which is very pleasant and convenient for me to get around.

We came in this hotel because our room was mistakenly issued in other place. Outside of hotel everything smelled like cats pee. Rooms were poor and unsafe. We could open the door even we already locked them.

Stayed here for a total of 7 nights. Perfect location for trips to the grand palace and Khao San road. Relatively clean room with everything working. Staff were polite and helpful enough. The only downsides were the noise coming from Khao San road going on through the night plus the very loud air conditioner. Also the bed was a bit...

The Four Sons is situated right behind Kao Sarn rd, it has an outdoor area for drinking at night, and a little cafe bar just inside. That's the good part, the rooms are very basic with old air con's and small bathrooms. Don't expect to find any decent channels on the tv, because there are none, only 3. Only 1...

I expected a lot more than I got, the place is in a small alleyway next to Kao San Road, you walk into the foyer & it wrecks of cat urine. There are people lounging around using the wifi. The receptionist was helpful but not the best customer service. I had a single room, which is small - air conditioning...

This is a hostel with individual bathrooms acting like a hotel. We had three rooms, all the same price and each one had different amenities, in particular the tv. One room had a wall mounted flat screen, another a boo tube and the third didn't have any. Only channels were in thai. It's not really a big deal for me,...

The room was basic and good vale for money! Great location as well, just off of khoa San so you can get a good nights sleep. We put the do not disturb sign on our door as we didn't want our room cleaned and housekeeping left spare towels loo roll and shower gel for us in a bag which was...

Staff are very rude and direct however rooms are a good size and comfortable but I gave a bad score due lack of customer service! There is also a chubby kid that lounges round the lobby and occasionally makes you a tad uncomfortable. Ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
