To step into SSIP Boutique Dhevej Bangkok is to step back several decades to a more charming and elegant world. The hotel is decorated throughout in retro style, evoking the world of the mid 20th Century. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff and friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is Asian style, consisting of a choice of chicken or pork...

This hotel is spotlessly clean, with staff so warm and friendly they really made our stay special. A little difficult to find at first but well worth the look. Would definately go back there, we all completely loved it.

Stayed here for conference meeting nearby, but there is really no other reason why one should want to stay in this area! Nothing to do at all! Rooms are very clean and have a Great bed. Thai breakfast is poor, really disappointing! Internet access and tv shows very poor. Given the price paid of Baht 2,200 per night there are...

This was one of my favorite places to stay while in Thailand. Mai and Sip are beyond helpful. They provide sincere and helpful recommendations and love to talk to you. When my sister and I walked into the hotel every time, we were always greeted by a smile and laughter. They always made sure we were taken care of! The...

Nice breakfast and very close to Khao San road. Also, clerks are really nice and kind. We've been pickpocketed at Bangkok, but by help of clerks, we can make our report at police station and make our passport. You should visit this place at least one night in Bangkok.

Everything about this place is its hospitality. From selective decor of the hotel, to simple but delicious local Thai breakfast, to host who would help you in planning your day to helping you in getting taxi. Location is a challenge if you are looking to spend most of your time in shopping or clubbing which you normally do on your...

This wonderful small hotel was a perfect for us. The staff were super attentive to our needs. As most point out the breakfasts were a wonderful start to the day. Being within walking distance to Thewej Pier made getting around much easier than sitting in taxis. My wife loved the small gift of a notebook from one of the king’s...

The staff were exceptionally helpful. The location close to river provides great access for travelling by boat. Nice finishing touches, paying attention to details. Mouth watering Thai food. Close to Vimanek palace (make sure to wear clothes covering your knees and shoulders).

This lovely hotel was a perfect choice for us. The staff was attentive and helpful and everything from the furniture to the floor tiles, signs and magazines was homey and tasteful. We loves the local breakfast and the food market right out of the hotel. Its also very close to the peer which provides a perfect solution for coming back...

Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
