Located such that all important malls are either within walking distance, or reachable by Sky Train or by cab, it is a place where I would certainly like to go back. The morning breakfast is superb. The restaurant on the ground floor provides sumptuous quality food for lunch and dinner. This hotel is frequented by people from India and Bangladesh...

Once again Manhattan in sukhumvit area of Bangkok did not disappoint. Staff excellent and friendly. Breakfast had a very good choice of buffet. Chef asked if we wanted an omelette for breakfast. Booked again for march 2017.

The hotel itself is old and probably due for a refurb soon but it was a great home that we used over two different stays. Staff were always friendly and helpful during our stay at the hotel. The pool was a highlight being deep enough to jump in (2.5m)

The hotel located in superb location; very near to BTS and close to Terminal 21 shopping mall. Breakfast is fantastic though it serves almost same the same food. Specially sushi items were great. I traveled 2 times BKK and stayed there. Its feelings is like home to me and my family. Robinson is very close to this hotel. All the...

We stayed over several days using the hotel as a base in Bangkok to travel to Kanchanaburi and Aranyaprathet/Poipet. The façade of the hotel looks faded and needs a facelift and renovation. This is not the first time we had stayed at the hotel. We had stayed at this hotel regularly over the last few years. This hotel is especially...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
