I went in April of 2013, because the US Embassy is nearby. But if you walk down the street a bit further you can stay at Chateau De Bangkok with better rooms and better location (metro). The free breakfast was good, but the rooms are nasty and danky. A brothel without the girls. Yuck and will never go back. Ever.

I stayed at Jim's Lodge after having had to pass on another location. My arrival time was almost 4 am after a long flight and the desk clerk was very helpful from the beginning. Without being expensive, it had all the amenities that I needed. It was close to the BTS Skytrain and shopping, with several good restaurants and Nana...

On a recent trip to Bangkok to go to the US Embassy, I decided to give Jim's Lodge a try as it is just down the street from Expressotel by Ploenchit (see my review) and I saw it during my last trip to Expressotel. Yes it is an older hotel with threadbare carpets in the hallways but the hallways are...

As a single female I stayed here several times a year on business in the 90s and so glad it is still in business. The staff was great and helped me arrange transportation in the wee hours to catch a flight. Good food as well.

Location: 3.5* - in a nice area surrounded by high profile hotels and establishments but it is a good walk from the nearest metro station. Rooms: 2* - really small with really thin walls and doors. You get a lot of unwanted noise from the surroundings. Facilities: 3* - elevator is a bit odd to use. Safety boxes are at...

For what you pay for its very acceptable. This neighborhood is high value real estate because of Wireless road. There are a number of Embassies in the area so if you have to go to one of them this is a great place for the price. It is not fancy the rooms are not amazing but they did have cable,...

Excellent staff. Reception and dining areas great. Hallways and rooms are dated but comfortable. A good place for the price and handy to naana street nightlife. I asked for a room away from the road so no traffic noise. I rate it average to good.

This hotel was an excellent find !!! Its a short 5 minutes walk from Ploenchit BTS Skytrain station. There is a 7/11 close by and some good restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast provided was good. They have three options to choose from. The room was spacious and the shower was very clean. They have very limited...
