The location of this hotel is great! It's located next to a lot of embassies and is quite close to the larger shopping malls. The hotel itself feels old, its clean enough, but everything looks like it hasn't been upgraded in a while. I had rather bad allergies at night, I don't know if it was the room itself with...

This hotel is very dated, not well maintained and not particularly clean. We stayed two nights and we couldn't wait to leave. Carpets in the hallways are thread-bare, discoloured, dirty and badly stained. We asked to be moved from our first room because of his poor state, with damaged blinds, badly faded and discoloured wallpaper and unclean bathroom. I would...

We have stayed at this hotel for three days after our arriving to the Bangkok. Maybe we didn't have a luck but environment in our room seemed kinda weared off but still in acceptable shape. Only real cons was probably noisy air conditioning box at the balcony. Fortunately, this was weighted off by very kind employees in the hotel and...

I happened to stay at Jim's Lodge recently when I went to Bangkok for a school reunion. Considering we were partying at my friends house till late into the night, I knew Jim's lodge would just merely serve as a B&B place in the strictest sense of the words. For about 1300 THB, I was shown into a large room...

My first night here, I came home from dinner just after 9pm to find the bell boy in our room tearing through our bags in the dark. This was the worst experience I've ever had in Thailand. THE LOW PRICE IS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE OR BELONGINGS.

My wife and I had to travel to Bangkok for personal business at the JUSMAGTHAI Compound. Jim's Lodge was about a mile away and was an inexpensive place to stay and included breakfast. We had stayed here previously when Kaew applied for her visa to visit America. The hotel is on the street directly behind the US embassy. The accommodations...

This is a good value low budget hotel behind the American embassy in Bangkok. Stayed at the hotel since I had to visit the American embassy in Bangkok. The staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was quite large for a budget hotel in Bangkok The AC worked very well and there were 2 free bottles...

Had an early morning appointment at the US Embassy and this is the closest accommodations at a great value as well. The lobby and the rooms are a little worn around the edges, but for the price it is good value. Rooms are clean, but are dated. Would stay again to visit the Embassy again

The stay at Jim's lodge for 5 nights was a very good experience. This small hotel is set among sky scrapers and fan hotels very close to Ploenchit BTS station and opposite the American embassy. The hotel is small and very homely. Our room was spacious and there was hot water available all the time. Breakfast was not complementary but...

There are other hotels near the U.S. Embassy.. Found the customer service lacking.. Extremely not helpful.. The staff felt they could tell one what to do.. "Go away, do not have time to talk to you now" when would not immediately charge to my card what was a questionable amount..Asked to book a car to Hua Hin..told to pay all...

“Maybe the twin-bedded rooms are less-used, so maybe the double rooms smell better. I'm sure they'll let you change rooms though - I just had soooo much stuff to move I couldn't be bothered in the end.”
