So, i booked this hotel (34 EUR Agoda) without reading any reviews first, i was really scared cause someone was talking about a scam, but its nothing like that. I arrived early but unfortunately an early check in was not possible, but i was able to store my luggage and get some food around (Nalin Kitchen, very nice). When i...

Bad location (it's NOT Silom as they say). Bad smell. Noisy. Wifi doesn't work. They will charge you 100 usd in the check in for no reason. They lie about the room categorie and about the tuktuk service to BTS (it doesn't exist). The manager was really rude and refuse to provide the tuktuk service with really bad manners, even...

Rooms were fine. OK for a night or two. A bit overpriced. Excellent breakfast with good variety. Reception area was immaculate but hallways on the way to the room were dated, dull and badly needed a deep clean to remove the stale odour. Advertises having a fitness center but this consisted of a treadmill, bike and cross trainer that didn't...

We stayed here for 2 nights! Very clean, nice modern room, hot shower. The staff were all very helpful and friendly too. We didn't book breakfast or use the pool so I can't comment on that, but everything else perfect for the price!

After staying in Sukhumvit for a week, we decided to try a budget hotel in Silom so we could be close to the action. Ma Hotel was running a great deal with 5x days costing around £100 so we decided to give this one a go, but again, we won't be coming back here again any time soon. The Good:...

I had a good time when i was there. I went with a group for 3 days and 2 nights. They have a nice and helpfully staff. Their rooms are enough, but the bathroom are quite small. About cleanliness, i think everything is fine. Foods are average, suprising they have a yoghurt in every breakfast, instead of juice and milk

Ma hotel is located within walking distances to river so you can get access to historical area and grand palace by boat. Overall it is clean and breakfast is not surprising. Pool is useless because it is in the middle of the lobby. The price is logical

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
