This was my second visit to the Atlanta and I'm still ambivalent about the place. The price is decent value for the neighborhood and considering pool, garden facilities, though rooms are basic.
It's a long way down the soi if you are walking. Be ready!...More
We were here for the third time this summer. For us Bangkok is Atlanta hotel. A beautiful little oasis in the big dirty city. Very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Love the lobby, the restaurant and the pool area. Simply forget where you are and...More
I loved the decor, atmosphere, pool and restaurant. The unusual contrast between contemporary Bangkok, outside the doors and the preserved interior is definitely worth the budget price. The pool and being able to decompress in the middle of Bangkok was perfect. Our room was way...More

Beautifull and jammed with history. Big pool in a lovely garden with a few hammoks. Everything is in 50's decor and most is authentic or restored. The restaurant is excellent but the rooms are rather basic in comparison to the rest of the hotel.
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

The cats do wander around the hotel but don't bother guests at all. They do seen to like a pat but only if you want to give then some time. I never noticed any cat-pee smell at all, and I'm sensitive to smells and a bit allergic to cats... No problem at all.
