I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights from 10 Jan to 13 Jan 17. I visited Bangkok often during the past 3 years and had stayed in different hotels near the Silom and Surawongse areas but this was the first time I had stayed in this hotel. I was quite impressed with the 5-star service I experienced in this...

The hotel is well located and easy accessible. The reception is polite and speaks fluent english, with the speed they found our booking they also seem well organized. The room is big, has all you need in it and daily cleaning. The view was a bit less but we only stayed in the room for sleeping so it did not...

We came here on my birthday, coincidentally, not specifically but soon learned how lucky and fortunate we were to stumble on the place. They greeted us with a smile and welcomed us at the door, where next we went to register. After speaking with the attendant he suggested we sit down and look at prices online to see if there...

First impressions - great central location and polite staff upon entering the hotel, reception also polite and friendly to a degree. Thats when it ended... When we were given our room it stank of smoke and so we asked for another room, to be fair we were given another room quickly. The hotel has a smoke free policy but then...

This hotel is a great value. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms clean and nice. There is lots of night life (bars and clubs) around the hotel. Great pool area. Straight across the street is a convenience store. There are Japanese, Thai, and Indian restaurants all long the main road that this hotel is on. It a...

its a very old hotel. the room was old and smelly. Some serious refurbishing must be done. I complaint about the old smelly room the next day to a manager on duty but was ignored. The manager's attitude was rude as well. Will not come back again.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
