Lovely hotel and staff,in a good location close to the BTS sky train sukhumvit and silcom line. This can take you down to the river at saphan taksin where you can get the boat up the river to Tha Chang to visit the grand palace,or if your brace take a tuk tuk ride instead. There's also high end shopping in...

Stayed at this hotel for a few days for Christmas holiday. It's a nice hotel in Sukhumvit. It's literally 5 minute walk to Bangkok's nightlife area Soi Cowboy and 20 min walk to another nightlife spot Nana Plaza. The room was spacious, there was free WiFi and a nice pool. Everything was pretty much what I expected. I'd stay here...

The main plus of the hotel is it is on sukhumit road, very near to shopping plazas, indian restaurant. Being an indian also the plus point was indian restaurant inside the hotel with lovely live ghazal singing. It is an old property but duly maintained. The staff was helpful. Rooms were small but clean. Breakfast was average not too lavish....

On checking in we were very pleased to be informed that the hotel had upgraded us to a suite to give us more space with our 2 daughters. The suite was very spacious and nice to have 2 bathrooms. The bedroom and corridors had quite old fashioned carpets, however the lounge area in the suite and lobby area was quite...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on our way back from Krabi. The room was very nice, the bathroom clean and, overall, the property looked to be well maintained. As our visit was just before Xmas, they had placed a large Xmas tree in the foyer which was a nice touch. The swimming pool and deck were well...

This was our first visit to Bangkok. And we had to change our plans on arrival due to our luggage being lost. This left us somewhat at a loss. I can not express how helpful the front desk staff were in helping us speak to airline. One young lady in particular whom I can not recall her name. A credit...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
