The Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok is incredible for its service and beauty. This is a near perfect hotel. What a wonderful experience when everything goes to your expectations. Checking in to the hotel was a seamless experience—even better was my introduction to a most unbelievable room—luxurious, elegant, and a wonderful escape from a busy and hectic world. There's a timelessness...

From the moment we were greeted at the entrance to the hotel our experience at The Sukhothai was perfect. A tasteful, well designed hotel, with wonderful well trained and friendly staff, our suite was beautifully decorated, the bed so comfortable, the air conditioning at just the right temperature, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. one of the few low rise hotels left in Bangkok, the Sukhothai is a welcome haven in the bustling city. Much more individual than some of the chain luxury hotesl Tasteful rooms and brilliant décor not Thai kitsch, nice public area and pool, which gets busy on weekends. Most rooms look out onto an internal garden and pond. Staff pay...

i am very regular customer, and stayed so many times in the hotel. management killed one of the best hotel in the world, and over two years both the service, cleaning and atmosphere of the hotel changed so so much. for example, they changed the pool umbrellas to ugliest clour, rooms are not cleaned, dismissive front of house staff.

We stayed in this Hotel for 2 days during easter break before leaving for Koh Samui. Property is too good. I really don't know if to call it a resort or a hotel since its a combination of both. I spent 3 fabulous days at the Sukothai in Bangkok over Easter. I had been there in the mid 1990’s on business trips and always remembered how nice it was. In February, I spent five days relaxing in Bangkok, with the Sukhotai as my home away from home. Having stayed at some of Asia's best hotels - and Asia's best are worldclass beaters -, I found this hotel right among the best. Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
