The manager Pierre and his team were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We’ve been going on and off on business for over 20 years, they have the same doorman called Tikk who welcomes you with joy. He’s so knowledgeable and always there to help.

The “Revival of the Original” at Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok has been nothing short of Thai hospitality! Joining the lunch crowd for the famed Hainanese chicken rice in the rejuvenated Ruenton restaurant was very heartwarming - knowing that pieces of history were displayed everywhere including the Thai-Chinese antiques and photos of famed stars and royalty having visited the property. The room is extremely spacious with plenty of room for luggage space, open wardrobe, soaking bathtub and had a touch of personalisation (welcome note) and localisation (Thai snacks and Southeast Asian fruits)! My favourite is how Khun Pierre-Andre (Area General Manager) is so hands on with supporting his team’s operations especially during peak meal periods, he never fails to greet and checks in on every guest wherever possible. Khun Tikk who has been working at Montien for more than 20 years welcomes every guest entering the hotel with true hospitality and displays genuineness in serving others. I stayed at Montien Surawong Bangkok Hotel on April 10-13 2022 & it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. First of all I would like to thank Ms.Chinanat Punnarat who did an excellent job of helping me in navigating the Thailand pass program & making sure I was sending the hotel the right documents & explaining how & exactly WHERE someone would meet me at the airport. After Arriving at the hotel around midnight front desk & bell staff were great. Very friendly. Did the PCR test and was shown to my room. Next morning got the news that I was neg. & my wife joined me for breakfast. The food & service for next few days were top shelf! The room itself was very clean & good size. Lg. TV & big shower. Try the Chicken rice dish in the restaurant, upscale take on a local item. Delicious! Hotel is also close to Sala Daeng BTS Station 5 min. Walk & Sam Yan MRT station around 5 min. Walk. I chose this hotel because it was right across the street from my client, in which I had stayed at 4 years ago and easily accessible by BTS should I need to go around Bangkok. Compared to my previous stay, recent renovations have been done very well! All the old furniture had been refurbished and reupholstered to give this modern yet nostalgic style to the property, while recycling resources at the same time. I was upgraded to a junior suite with a welcome note, fruit platter and snacks, California king bed and a huge bathtub. The bathroom was even equipped with an automatic toilet! All staff were super friendly and helpful, the concierge was even able to help me make a booking to a rooftop bar that is apparently very difficult to access. Breakfast was consistent and the Area General Manager stops by every morning to greet every table. Such attention to details. I had the luxury of a free morning from the last day of this business trip to top up on my tan by the pool. It was very early and sunny/hot morning so I had the space all to myself - recommended to guests who are looking to tan in peace! Will definitely return and absolutely recommend this hotel.…

Excellent staff. Clean new rooms. Not all of the facilities were in use. Opening is 15th July 2022. However, due to the personal service and the good location, this was no issue. Will be a great place again and thanks to the management and staff hopefully a landmark in Bangkok.

The Montien Hotel was beautiful and very clean. The employees that work there are amazing and treat you very well! They are very sweet and caring and always were willing to help me. The restaurant at the hotel had good food but the breakfast buffet was my favorite. They had an omelette station, fresh fruit, amongst other things as well. There is a Starbucks across the parking lot and a 5 minute walk to a mall with a large food court and shopping. The grand palace and the huge IconSiam mall are a 15-20 minute cab ride away. The bellmen will grab a cab for you and make sure the driver turns the meter on. I used Grab to come back to the hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the pillows and bed were super comfy. The pool was very nice as well. Will definitely use this hotel for further stays in Bangkok!…

The entire experience was impeccably FLAWLESS- from the arrival of the guests; to checking in the hotel rooms; to hosting the visitors; and to using all the facilities. The staff were all warm and did their best to provide our needs. The items and facilities in the room are all new and state-of-the-art that made the experience extra special. Amazing experience to stay at Junior suite California king with family and my kids. the room is big and comfy with space for two pre-teenagers. Bathroom has both bath tub, shower, rain shower with Charcoalogy products. automatic toilet with remote controller, it cleans itself once we open the door. cool! Love the restaurant. Chicken rice is the best ever.

My mum and I had a wonderful 10day stay at the Montien hotel. We had a very spacious room with all the items you would need for a stay. The bathroom was very nice. All the staff were so helpful and professional and a huge shout out to the wonderful door men who made us feel so welcome. The pool is nice on a hot day and the hotel overall is clean. The location is great with restaurants and malls within walking distance. As is a hop on hop off bus stop which was handy. This hotel is a pleasure to stay at when in Bangkok.
