I am working at this hotel doing science workshops for the next two weeks. They have a beautiful bakery on the first floor. I had coffee and a small danish.... and the danish was SO buttery flavored. It was a great culinary treat early in the morning. The entire hotel is top notch. The people working there are extremely helpful...

Vintage style hotel provides a great service. It places at the center of bangkok nearby other important sightseeings such as MBK shopping mall, Siam discovery, Siam Paragon, Wat hua lampong, Chulalongkorn university

So cool in an unintentional way. Step back in time to elegance 1960s style. Comfortable and well located. If you want modern go elsewhere. Great breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay here again. Get a deluxe room.

Hotel is situated close to Silom area, opposite of Patpong night market. But it is so quiet in this hotel. A few recommendations to achieve this..... ask for a North wing room higher than level 10. Bathroom needs improvements but overall great experience. Middle level for pricing. Didn't try none of the restaurants..... there are so many restaurants and street...

Well this is the second visit to this hotel and it has not changed in 9 years since last visit. What can i say, well if you can, make sure you get a room in North wing of hotel as South Wing can be very noisy from the night market of Patpong and tuk tuks late at night. Rooms are...

Superior Room, high floor with nice city view. Good locality in Silom; close to transport, eateries, shops, entertainment, Lumphini Park. Room spacious, clean, plenty of natural light, good setup with plenty of table and storage space (separate dressing table area from TV writing desk area). Plenty of hangers in cupboard! Room safe. Free wi-fi. Bathroom with tub though shower head...

I am going to give a realistic review, and not just like any others that bombarded her about her conditions and being so out of date etc. All these are true, but then, this place may surprise you... 1. I was warmly welcomed, check in lady was very graceful, a simple welcome herbal drink and all that. 2. Room 420...

We had a room for 3, only 2 units could connect to wifi. And they change you like 300 bath/each for Wifi ! We could only have 1 key. Broken tap in the bathroom. Clean room but very dated. They really want to be fancy, but I'm sorry.

Very dated property. Internet access additional charge, but does not connect most of the time. Shower head not adjustable. Very little understanding of English. Air conditioner has only one set temperature even though there are thermostats in the room.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
