A little more pricey but that's what happens when you stay at the Hangover Part II's location. Rooms are awesome. Views are beautiful. Great size suites. Awesome bathroom and shower. English TV, if you care. Great wifi. Breakfast was ok. Everybody is helpful and kind. If you want to go up to the sky bar... GO EARLY! It opens at...

Although it was a bit crowded, I loved going up the the sky bar at the Lebua Hotel. Drinks are pricy but there's no charge to go up so it's worth it for the view. Dress code is enforced so be sure to dress up (i.e. no sandals for men). The rooftop was incredibly windy when I went up despite...

the hangover movie has bring a lot of Young backpackers who are partying their last night at BKK. Still the hotel tries to be too Official and boring five star hotel, just afternoon Tea and bingo is missing. There are also too many rules. You are not allowed to open the balcony! They have build a stupid plexiglass walls to...

If you've got the budget, check out Labua at the State Tower. It's free to check it out just make sure you're dressed for a trendy style bar. No shorts, tank tops, flip flops, etc. The is a high class, expensive rooftop bar with indoor & outdoor dining. Indoors is Mezzaluna, a wonderful 5 star, set menu (with or without...

Like many comments we found the Sirroco restaurant in the Lebua Hotel priced over the top. After a period of time to absorb the atmosphere and the wonderful views, service and cuisine we realised that it was worth the experience by dinning on top of the world in Bangkok on a perfect star lit night, very romantic indeed. The owners had a vision...

Stayed here our last night in Bangkok. We were surprised to receive a surprise suite upgrade putting us on the 54th floor. What an amazing view! I really loved the balcony! Excellent customer service and a helpful concierge. Irritations: Not a big deal, but there is no iron or ironing board in the room. They had one brought up to...

I stayed at Lebua with 4 friends in December 2016. Lebua is centrally located for several of the major Thai temples and clearly visible from afar with its unique gold dome. I had a single room on the 57th floor and it was massive! Living room area, enormous bathroom and bedroom. The balcony overlooked the entire city. Staff were polite...

The views from this place are absolutely gorgeous. While we were there, we were able to watch thunderstorms moving through the city. The views alone make it a must visit. The bar on the other-hand is very mediocre. The prices are very high (as expected at a place like this) but the quality of the drinks was VERY so so,...

Although it is becoming more and more expensive, i still think it is worth the money paid. If it was possible i would rate it as 4.5 due to below: Pros: great view obviously! Also great taste of food in the restaurants and best breakfast ever. Neutral: Comfort level of the hotel rooms is great, but same as in many...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
