I've styed at this hotel 4 times and the location is just perfect! Is it located right next to Sukhamvit, very close to all the nightlife spots. The balcony overlooks Bangkok, make sure you get a high floor. The breakfast was magnificent, literally 50+ dishes, including shark-fin soup and exotic fruit. Also, there is a supermarket right in front of...

Stayed in Amari Boulevard for 3 nights. Hotel just far enough from the bustle of Sukhumvit Road. Hotel clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to SKYTRAIN so easy to get around. Breakfast is buffet style and very good choice and quality. Staff very welcoming in the restaurant in the morning. Pool on 6th Floor was very nice...

Thank you for your kind and comprehensive review. Very happy that you enjoyed the hotel and its surrounding, including the 24 hours supermarket. The area indeed offers a wide choice of restaurants within walking distance, with all kind of choices including Thai, Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Indian and Middle Eastern food. Wishing you a Happy Songkhran (Thai New Year).

There is a guard positioned near the elevators who stops guests from bringing in prostitutes. We appreciate this. While we were there a grey haired tourist had a teenaged girl (eeeew) with him waiting for the elevator. The guard challenged the guest and would not let the girl into the elevator. The embarrassed guest took the girl elsewhere. Other than...

Thank you for your nice review. Indeed superior rooms on the western side of our Siam Tower will be cooler since they are shadowed by our Krung Thep Tower (Deluxe rooms wing) but with less view. The Chef and his team was very happy to read that you liked the bread and butter pudding. Thank you again.

We stayed at the Amari on the last night of our holiday having spent 2 weeks in Thailand travelling to multiple destinations. We visited this hotel on our first trip to Thailand. The hotel is situated in the most-happening Sukhumvit area. Easily accessible, and lots of tuk-tuks (local taxis) waiting outside the hotel to take you anywhere. Though, they tend to charge more when they see a foreigner. Also, lots of shopping, forex agents & massage parlours as soon as you step...

A nice hotel - quite impressive foyer despite being situated down a narrow and quite tacky street. As everywhere in Thailand, very pleasant, polite and friendly welcome, though the room was a little disappointing, needed a bit more upkeep and maintenance, a few rusty bits and stains in the bathroom though nothing major. Pleasant-looking pool though we didn’t try it....

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
