We stayed here for 2 nights while we were in Bangkok and it was perfect. This place isn't anything super fancy but it's right downtown so we were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. Also, it's far enough away from the party scene that it's quiet. I highly recommend getting a canal view room. One of...

We were lucky to get a room with a balcony and view to the canal. The room was rather small but we just went there to sleep. The AC was working, there was hot water for the shower, the room was pretty quiet - so it satisfied our basic needs. The location was excellent: close to Khao San road. The...

I do not like to write negative feedback. But this place was absolute no value for money. our whole stay we were so sad that we did not book our room in the neighbouring Chillax hotel. We had no proper window in our room. the bathroom was tiny. The room was really tiny for two people and two suitcases. The...

Located a 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Khaosan rd. But far enough for it to be quiet at night. Good facilities, very clean and good views of the canal if you get a balcony room. Staff very friendly and helpful but only a few understand any English. Stayed in Bangkok before and would use Korbua House...

If you are passing through Bangkok, I can't recommend this place highly enough, staff, location , rooms.......the complete package at a great price. I had a wonderful afternoon sipping some beers and chatting with friends in the canal side bar. Not to be missed :)

Nice hotel near a canal in Bangkok and within walking distance to Khaosan Rd, and a short tuk-tuk ride from all the major temples and the Grand Palace. Less than a 5 minute walk to Khaosan Rd. and a 7-eleven. Close to all the nighttime craziness but far enough away to actually sleep too. 24 hour front desk is nice...

Only stayed here for two night as was just passing through Bangkok. Really chuffed with this hotel. Nice and clean.. Great shower.. Rooms nice size.. Good wifi.. Reception staff really nice as well. Good location as close to Khao San Road but further enough away to escape the hectic nightlife.. Yes, like in the other reviews there is a slight...

Stayed in this hotel for 2015 NYE with a friend and we were both happy with this choice. Location is quite central, sights and attractions could be easily accessible from this place. Room was tiny with a bathroom unit that sometimes smelled though a bit. There is a terrace area for breakfasts or evening chilling that itself is really nice...

We're going to spend just a night here at Khao San & decided to check into this guest house, highly recommended & review by many on website. Without disappointment it live up to its reputation, easily accessible from a main road & minutes within walking distance to the infamous Khao San Street & Soi Rambuttri(where pubs, clubs, restaurants, eateries &...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
