Food is excellent. We love the option of international buffet or Japanese breakfast. Service is attentive but not intrusive and we were very comfortable throughout. We eat well and slept well and were very well pampered. From housekeeping to doormen to front desk to restaurant staff to the GM! Excellent service standards!
From the moment of check-in till check out a great experience. Great service, amazing breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended. For me the most important is the staff, and you can see they are well trained and extremely nice.
Service: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Value: 5 Location: 5 Ambiance: 5 Food/Drink: 5 Couldn't ask for a better stay. The service was exceptional, the views spectacular, and the food was on point. With so many choices of hotels in Bangkok, it's difficult to settle on one. My family was so glad to stay at the Okura, so to boot, I booked another stay for my in-laws to enjoy their last night in Bangkok with us (they already had a condo near Baiyoke Sky tower). They also reveled in the Okura's glory and agree that this was one of the best stays of their lives. The service rivaled that of the various Four Seasons we've stayed at...that's how good it was! The Okura definitely reinforced why Thailand is called the "land of smiles" as everyone was so willing to help. Big cities often come with big attitudes, but it didn't show here (can't say the same for my experience at Siam Paragon). When we visit Bangkok again, the Okura will definitely be at the top of our list!…
The Okura is located in a great part go Bangkok, and very handy to the Skyrail with it's own station entrance - this is so important in Bangkok. We stayed in the Club Suite which is spacious and beautifully styled, the bathroom is amazing and the added bonus of using the cloud lounge in the afternoons for drinks and refreshments, a lovely treat. The staff are amazing, no request was too difficult and we had the pleasure of chatting to Niek the General Manager on several occasions, he is very hands on and is around to chat to most of the day. Highly recommend the Okura if you want to spoil yourself for a few days.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was great. Morning breakfast spread was excellent. During breakfast, the GM himself came around to talk with customers, a great and friendly gesture. This is show of commitment to good service. Diner at the Up And Above restaurant was excellent, good value and good view. Will definitely come back to Okura Prestige next time we go to Bangkok.
We stayed at the Okura for a total of 6 nights (we extended our stay there). The reservation process was very easy and the hotel was reachable at all times and responded quickly. Pick up at the airport was on time and transport was very nice. The hotel is right at a BTS station which makes it's location very convenient. During our stay we changed rooms, whereas all the rooms we stayed were excellent. Big bathroom and great beds. The breakfast was fine, but pretty standard. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. The service is worth mentioning. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Credits to the Manager who was on site daily. We had a nice conversation with him and he offered some great advice for the rest of our trip. We think that it makes all the difference when Management is on site.…
Combine Japanese cleanliness with Thai hospitality, and you get this hotel. Wonderful facilities (pool, gym were outstanding). We stayed for almost 10 days and would do so again. Location - walk to Phloen Chit BTS stop. Walk to Central Embassy Mall (check out the food court on the 5th and 7th floors).
Clean and spacious. Good service. Good location where it is within walking distance to BTS and shopping mall (central embassy). Nice cafe, 7-11 and Boots pharmacy within the same hotel building. Hotel room provides Nespresso coffee maker and 2 capsules per day. Bottles of water and Chinese tea leaves and set. Iron and ironing board is available as well.
We usually don’t stay longer than a week in city hotels but glad to have selected The Okura Prestige for this special occasion (my birthday). Staff are extremely friendly, attentive and service is impeccable without any flaws . Wouldn’t be fair to single out individuals as everyone including reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant to fitness staff work hard to ensure service is delivered promptly and satisfactory with a smile. For breakfast, there is Japanese or western buffet with charcoal skewers!… plentiful of options to keep any guest happy. House keeping always on time and excellent job. Infinity pool is lovely and daughter always enjoyed the afternoon swim with warm greeting from staff. Concierge go out of their way to provide directions and advice for us to navigate uncharted territory. We were fortunate to have visited a special event marking the 10th year? Celebration of Okura Prestige including members of the senior management team who were very nice to speak to guests like myself. Location is centralised and a door step away from the BTS to travel across the city including Siam Paragon or other venues. Just so impressed and I applaud the management here for a job well done and for keeping the standards consistent. We’ll be back very soon.…
I love the experience here. At first, it was quite a little bit confusing to find the lobby since I drove there and got to the entrance from parking space. However, once we found the lobby, everything was smooth as silk. I booked a deluxe corner room but they upgraded me to prestige instead saying that I have access to the lounge and everything. Sadly I didn't have time to use the facilities. The room was enormous. The bed was so comfy that I slept well. Also, the room service is 24 hours! Me and my bestie were so happy about that because we 're always hungry at late night. Staff are professional yet friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. I love that they provided verities of dessert. Overall experience was awesome. I definitely will be staying here again next time!
