Cleanest, most secure hostel I've stayed in. Pretty quiet. Easy to get to/from airport & access to sky train. Close to sky bar. Taxi or tuktuk to khoa San road. Local market that you can walk to. Cubbies for your pack as well as light & outlet by your bed. Laundry service. Wifi. Common areas.

This hostel looks nice on the pictures but in fact it looks different... The building is very small and full with unnecessary stuff. The beds are okay, cleaningness can be improved, it is very humid in the hallways, breakfast is free but not worth it to go, common space is too full with stuff as well and no daylight, reception...

I can't recommend this hostel highly enough, not only are the rooms comfortable and clean, with decent bathrooms, but the staff who work here are so helpful and willing to assist you with any matter (for example when my friends and I had to visit the tourism police after being scammed by a tuk tuk driver). The breakfast will set...

This is very well located within walking distance for the sky train, linking you in to the rest of Bangkok. I got a taxi from the airport and the driver had no problems finding the location. For those who would like to go the night market is on the next street, with dancing girl bars lining each side, and for...

A part of having a memorable trip in Bangkok is because of the excellent service they provided to me and my cousin. They arranged the Elephant Riding ang Floating Market TOur for us. And since we will leave early, they provided us packed breakfast to go. Such the sweetest gesture! Our room was always maintained clean. Will definitely be back...

Stayed at smile society twice this past month. This has to be one of the cleanest hostels in Thailand! The staff are super friendly and very helpful! Felt very comfortable for the duration of both our stays. Fairly priced.

I have no complaints about my stay at Smile Society! It was clean and very comfortable and the lady who runs it is very sweet. It's conveniently close to the BTS line, which is helpful when coming from the airport, but not super conveniently close to tourist attractions like the Grand Palace and Khao San Street. It is close to...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
