Loy La Long was such a beautiful, joyful space to call home. The staff were amazing, helping me to organise some day trips and even offering to take me to the flower market. A few women were staying who had been several weeks previously, but had been robbed en route back to Bangkok. The staff took them in without charge...

Loy La Long OOZES charm. Most hotels in Bangkok are high rises, not Loy La Long. You walk down a small alley and ring the bell and are escorted into an old fish sauce factory. You take off your shoes and enter a small, perfect teak building right on the river. They will cater to your every need. Funky rooms..we...

This place has to be experienced to be believed... Right on the river it is in the heart of Chinatown.. I stayed in the Orange room and although small it was perfect for me...and in contrast to a previous review the a/c worked perfectly...staff were so nice and friendly and really helpful... We took cabs everywhere from here and although...

With only a couple of rooms available, you feel like you're visiting friends in this very laid back and funky atmosphere. Literally on the water (we could see the waves below through the cracks on the floor), the Chinatown location makes it pretty central and 10 min walks to the metro. The party boats didn't bother us (unlike in some...

I just finished a stay at Loy La Long yesterday, and while there are many things to love about it, there were one or two things that I would change. The staff, service, and amenities are amazing, and the ambiance is the best I've felt in a hotel abroad. It was warm, welcoming, and authentic, and the staff was exceptionally...

To begin with, this hotel may be a dream run for Europeans, but to most Asians it is nothing but a poor imitation of a Thai house. Its in Chinatown , right on the banks of a real muddy river. And it took my taxi driver a while to locate the place...even though very good instructions were emailed. The entrance...

Ok so I stayed in the orange room in June 2014. Totally mellow sitting in the hammock, watching the boats go by on the Chao Phraya river. Chinatown was a great alternative to staying near to Sukhumvit. U and Om were profoundly helpful with making plans to check out Bangkok and environs. Simply put, I loved this place. It was...

Spent two nights here in early September. The location and decor of LoyLaLong is so unique. Each room is a work of art and the common areas are so comfortable to hang out in. The porch/deck is literally inches from the river. We ate breakfast out there each morning. The staff is great and very knowledgeable of all things Bangkok....

We absolutely loved our stay at Loy La Long. They arranged transport from the airport which made arrival so easy. The hotel itself is an amazing place, with a great vibe and we loved being able to sit right on the river and watch everything go by. We stayed in the blue room and it was very nice and the...
