We stayed there on arrival from the UK on the early morning flight and despite saying check in was at 2pm we were able to check in at 10am which for us was a nice surprise. There are no added extras in this hotel. The fridge wasnt stocked although we did get our complimentary water, there was only one cup...

The CNR House hotel was a very good choice. Very friendly staff, it was clean, everything was working, nothing to complain about. The skytrain is a 15min stroll away. It's situated at a side street, though it was very quite for Bangkok measures. There is a 7-11 shop just next corner.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

“TiP: for a few more dollars go elsewhere. Tip to other tripadvisers: Rate honestly and think of others before you give a good rating. Just cause the guy/girl at the front desk may be a sweetie, does not mean he gets all excellents in your rating”
